"Pencil dick?" Killian taunted, whipping his dick out and running his hand over it until he was hard. "Does this look small to you? You look like the vulnerable one here. Maybe I should tie you up and fuck some respect into you?"

This is book #1 of the Cruel Crimes series and it does end in a cliffhanger.
Contains issues and situations some may find triggering.
This was a great beginning of a series! Lovable characters, suspenseful plot, hot romance with some good descriptive smut.
This was my first read by the author and I'm really looking forward to read more of her.
Inevitable love!!!
29.5/35 STARS – 4 STARS (between 28 stars and 31 stars)

Would I recommend? Yes, for all readers of mafia romance!
Would I re-read this book/series? Yes!
Would I read more from the author? Definitely!!!
Addictiveness: 4.5/5 From the beginning of the prologue I felt invested in Sana's happiness. She hooked me from the beginning and the twists and turns kept me guessing until the end. As addictive as ice cream!!!
Character: hero 4/5, heroine 4.5/5, secondary characters 5/5, growth 4/5, real 4/5 Interesting characters with a lot of room for growth.
Sana was a very easy to love heroine. She feisty and smart. She was trying to carve a new path for herself away from the shadows of her family. She knew she lived on borrowed time, and she was trying to make the best of it. She was a brat and she was not a clear submissive, but I still want to go deeper into her psyche and I believe she has a lot of room for personal growth.
Killian was the impulsive triplet. He was intense, impulsive, hot and really emotional.
Keir was the boss. The intense, serious triplet. He had a lot of responsibility on his shoulder by and he was always ready to blow up.
Kyrell was the pacifier. He felt like a middle kid that always knew how to defuse his siblings, always showing more restrain and rationality.
I wanted more from the triplets. The were all hot, dangerous and interesting, but I missed more depth. More of their background.
Secondary characters: a few really good ones like Dani and Gabe.
Villain/antagonists one clear villain, and several antagonists on this story.
They were easy to love, connect and understand!!!
Cover: art 4.5/5, title 5/5, color-font 5/5, subtitle 2/5, background 5/5 buy 4.5/5 I’m obsessed with book covers. I love to find snippets of the stories within the art. I always try to be true to myself, I buy so many books because of the cover and I have skipped many because of not very appealing art. Covers are part of the experience for me and I do like to understand them. This one was a great one. I think the colors, sort of the sepia mood works perfectly for the story. I just missed more personal touches. Something that gave hints of the story. Maybe a subtitle, or at least all the characters on the cover. I don't know what, but it was missing. I would easily buy this book by its cover without needing to read the blurb!
Freshness: 4/5 This book was another mafia romance with lots of the usual clichés, but at the same time it was more. It has several twists and turns that added a fresh vibe to the story. As fresh as mint tea!
Plot: believable 3/5, conflict 4.5/5, dialogue 5/5, ending 4.5/5, enjoyment 5/5, opening 5/5, pace 5/5, setting 5/5, subplots 45/5, twists 5/5 Amazing opening with an incredible ending even though with a cliffhanger. Interesting plot, with well written dialogues and intense pace. Great setting, a few really good subplots with unexpected twists. High level of enjoyment!
That was a lot going on here. That was the mob war, that was the group trying to make a relationship work, that was the bits of D/s, that was child abuse... and still the author made it all work together. If felt really cohesive and it sort of made sense.
Romance: believable 4.5/5, chemistry 5/5, description 4.5/5, development 4.5/5, steam 4.54/5 This was hot! Their chemistry was undeniable and the dialogues added to the story. The was a lot of good smut, but it all felt pertinent to the plot. . Possessive romance!!!
Writing Style: 4/5 My first book by the author and I'm really looking forward to read more from her. Good characters, with interesting plot, wonderful romance and sexy smut. What else could I want? Great writing style!
Because I try to be very analytical and I don't really believe in perfection...
I know I'm reading fiction, but I'm still looking for the "reality factor"on the books. This was felt very unbelievable, but I still loved the story. :)
I understand the need of cliffhangers, it doesn't mean that I have to like them. :)
You MAY read this because you follow the author; you SHOULD read this because you like reverse harem romance; you MUST read this because the plot is alluring!!!
