Whether India’s characters are feeling the heat from hell or the wings of grace, they are all transforming and want to share their journey with you. Her novels range from Dark MC, Paranormal, to Contemporary, but each story is either a path of destruction or a road to redemption.

Sometimes both.

I am back with Lacey and Tate's story and this is another intense emotional heart stopping story………

After Hostile Illusions Cliffhanger, I thought that I wouldn’t have to tell you that you need to take the author’s warning Seriously, due to the fact Hostile Illusions brought me to my knees…….. This particular book Had me feeling so many different indescribable feelings.

My Advice to anyone whom to decides to read this particular book is to have a good stiff drink before starting it , and a huge box of tissues nearby.

These two amazing Characters had Endured so much over the years, and It’s a Pure miracle they survive what they did.

If not for 3 amazing men willing to go out of their way to help Tate in his time of need, I really don’t feel like he would have Survived his injuries, let alone all that came his way in the coming weeks
Sure, Steel Stallions MC men can be called many things, but heartless isn’t one of them

If you’re looking for a dark read that has suspense along with so many other Elements., you’re in the right place

TOP READ OF 2021

“One damaged soul silently speaking to another”

I’m going to try and give this review the justice it deserves, pun intended. Hostile Saint is like nothing I’ve ever read before. I know I sound like a broken record but Adams continues to get better with each story that is told. This book y’all. This book will forever remain in my heart. I laughed. I cried. I raged for these people. I fell in love with a hard group of bikers who knew to follow the signs. We get to see a side of them that so few get to witness and the connections they form. But don’t get to comfortable because Adams does not hold back. She slaps you upside the head when you least expect it with some mind blowing revelations and revenge that tastes oh so sweet. My heart was racing so fast I didn’t think I’d ever calm down, but make sure you bring the Kleenex and the whiskey. You are going to need them with the telling of this devastatingly beautiful story. 🦋

Brilliant. Absolutely fucking brilliant. I’m not an easy cryer but I know when picking up a book from India R. Adams, imma cry. And I did.
Review to come tonight.
This book took a few days to read. Which is really rare for me to read that slow. I usually read a book a day. But this book is so heavy that I had to take breaks and honestly read a fantasy book. But this book is just absolutely heartbreaking and emotional and just amazing. I don’t even know what to say about it. My review will come later

Review:
If you read the prequel Hostile Illusions (which is a must) then understand that Hostile Saint is going back in time and we are following Tate and what happened to him - from the moment in the woods to fully reuniting with Lacey again.
It involves the Steel Stallions and the beautiful relationship and brotherhood he gathered to help him and his “Pretty Girl”.

This is not your typical MC series. This is a dark and highly emotional read about the underground child sex trafficking ring and stuff that happens that NO ONE ever talks about.
We are talking about some horrific abuse and sacrificial séances that involve children.
While this is fiction, I applaud this author for bringing awareness to what does truly happen in this world that sounds unbelievable, till you read real life testimonies to those that lived it. And THATS WHY this book is really emotional to read.

So we have two main characters. Tate and Lacey. They both have been horrifically abused by siblings growing up. The worse kind. They are left for dead in the woods. Lacey runs off to get help. She finds help for herself but ends up with amnesia.
Tate miraculously survives and because of Laceys screams, a motorcycle “gang” ends up finding him and helping him in more ways than one.
“You have a new set of brothers now. And we always take care of our own. That’s you, nine lives.”
These men of the Steel Stallions embrace Tate, nicknamed Saint and as their own son. Bringing in a lost and timid boy and making him a confident man. The story of his growth was heartwarming to read.
They also help with making sure Lacey is seeking the help she needs to regain her memory and love for Saint again.
While she’s safe and getting the help and care that will bring her back to the one person that’s loved her, Saint and the MC peel back layers and layers of the mystery behind Lacey and Saint and their evil brothers. Where did they come from? Who is everyone real parents? A lot of questions readers probably had in the prequel, you’ll get answered in this book.

There is so many layers and a huge backstory to these characters. It was incredible and deep and mind blowing how India R. Adams wrote the history and backstory of everyone. I was not prepared.
This book was absolutely amazing. An emotional journey. There was heart thumping vengeance involved but it is only the beginning of a much bigger picture. I cannot wait to see what happens next.

How does one write a review for a book that broke her heart into two?

A book that she thought she might not be able to continue on with because well she wasn’t emotionally ready for that first chapter. There’s one thing you need to understand about this author is that this author has a reason and you just have to trust the process.

This book really played with my emotions and had my eyes watering and spilling with tears. I was just an overflowing mess that felt these characters story right to her core. It made me feel as though I was experiencing what they were feeling and I was walking along side them.

Just thinking back on this two, makes my heart ache, and makes my eyes tear up.

There is so much to be said about this book, and quite literally I wouldn’t be able to put those words to paper and give this book it’s review that it deserves but I am going to try anyway.

This is a book that you need to go into completely blind. It will be a book that becomes one of your top reads and have you’re heart pumping like crazy.

I knew that this book had heartbreak vibes to it, but I didn’t expect it to break my heart into a million pieces and that is what it done. As the story went by, piece by piece of my heart were being scattered all over the place and my tears were landing on top. A collection that I would happily send to the author.

Saint and Jamie are such a powerful duo who absolutely deserved everything, every sort of happiness they could find and they found that within each other. Over time they had built such a deep, strong and intense connection that you often find in fairytales, but the thing about this book is that it is not a fairytale. It is far from it actually, it’s the complete opposite.

One you wouldn’t wish for but one that sadly happens and that is the beauty in this story because this author wasn’t afraid to go there and gives us these characters stories as it’s something that in real life we deal with. As much as we wish to have an happily ever after, it’s sometimes not the case and not in the cards for some. It’s a hard pill to swallow and still thinking about, as I write this review is making me cry.

These two characters that you meet and get the privilege of reading their story were everything and so much more. They are a pair that will forever stay in my heart. They have embedded their souls to mine and I don’t ever want to let go. Me as a reader feels so beyond grateful to be able to get the chance to read these words as they were an experience in itself.

To fully connect with these characters story, I am not going to go into any details about it, as I feel as though this a book you all need to experience on your own.

If I can tell you one thing, just prepare yourself, because you won’t be ready. This book will slice you open, make your heart bleed, put you in your feels but finding yourself falling in love with two broken and damaged people who above it all have experienced the unthinkable together found a love that is so inspiring and beautiful that will make you overwhelmed.

You won’t truly know what’s going to happen as you read through this book and quite frankly that’s what I love the most out of this book. There are so many pieces of this book that I can pick apart and pin point how much I love them, one thing that stood out for me was the relationships Saint built with the Stallions, how strong, powerful and heartbreakingly beautiful it was.

This book will blow your mind in the most hurtful and best way possible, so get ready for the ride as it’s going to be full of so many highs and so many lows. So buckle up friends as you’re in for a doozy.

This book completely blew me away. I thought going into it that it would have a similar feel to other books (specifically MC books) where you’d have your bad boys and your girl that gets together with them mixed with some angst and danger, I’m simplifying - I know. And thinking that’s what I was going to be reading is what drew me to it, but I was wrong and I’m just speechless. This is NOT your typical MC book (again, not bashing it bc MC books are my jam). I was just amazed at the story line, which does not start with the MC group and really the MC characters are hugely important but there’s a whole other world we are involved in as well. Tate and Lacey are soul mates who have gone through the most atrocious acts of torture that you can imagine. Their only hope is each other and the love they share, which is impressive by itself but factor in their young age and it’s even more so. They get separated due to horrible circumstances but our story centers around Tate and his new connection to the Steel Stallions, who found and saved him. Getting to know Tate and getting to know the Stallions who rescued him was massively rewarding as a reader. The relationship was so rich and genuine between them but also full of both happy bonding times and heart wrenching moments. There are so many well developed characters that we meet along the way and they all slay you with their loyalty to the MC group, and by proxy - Tate and Lacey. This story is a RIDE. You will not figure out where it’s going next and you will be consumed by it. Clear your schedule because you won’t want to leave Tate and his new family once you meet them. Absolutely amazing!

I know people say this all the time but this is unlike any MC book I've read. We have the same brotherhood and camaraderie that you expect but that is not what this book is about. I feel like I went on a magical mystery tour of discovery. This is a hard read at times, Tate and Lacey have been through unimaginable horrors that are slowly revealed to the reader and to the men who come to their rescue. There is an air of suspense and danger to this story as we discover all the lies and half truths. With every new revelation India had me on the edge of my seat gripped as it all unfolded. I loved the men of the Steel Stallions they were fierce in their protection merciless in their revenge and also provided some much needed moments of light relief, they had me cracking up at their antics.

This book will take you on a journey you will not like to the darker elements of society and a subject we do not talk about enough. It will also you show you the endurance of spirit and have you questioning how far you will go to save the ones you love. A beautiful and profound love story that will stay with me for a long time. I have a feeling we have just scratched the surface of what being a Steel Stallion means and I cannot wait to be along for another ride.

There are some stories that stick with you. Some that just take over your soul, and bloom within your heart. This, is one of them.

This book took me by surprise. Every time I think I know India R Adams and her writing, her storytelling, she shows a new facet of herself. People often refer to plots being like onions, but I believe India is the onion. With each new book, we get a new layer of this author, diving deeper into her own soul splashed onto the pages.

Tate and Lacey have been through so much and if you’ve read Hostile Illusions you have an idea about what Im talking about. With Hostile Saint, SO MUCH is revealed and can I tell you, MY MIND WAS BLOWN. The weaving of the plot was exceptional!

Hostile Saint is exactly what Adams does best; a balance of light an dark, of peace and war, of love and hurt. This standalone novel and first book of the Steel Stallions MC promises an epic new series.

Wow just wow.
The more words I read by this majestically talented author, the more I become speechless in awe and brokeness.
This book especially hit hard, it's not pretty, and it's definitely not easy, but like any other book by this author it's special and will stick with you for a long time.
It wasn't all doom and gloom though, at times I found myself crying with laughter, and like anything with this author, it was perfectly timed.
Honestly I could go on and on about how amazing this book was, how characters and plot were perfect in their broken was etc etc but honestly you just need to bite the bullet and dive in immediately, no amount of reading reviews will prepare you for the journey you're about to embark.
Would give more stars if I could.

"Evermore"

If I thaught that the prequel, Hostile Illusions, broke me, it was without counting on this first book of the Steel Stallions series, Hostile Saint.

I already was a fan of Mrs Adams' writing style but this book might have reached the status of my favorite of her books. The twisted and mysterious storyline gripped me to no end. The emotions sent me reeling.

"‘Stallions for life’.”

If you are familiar with the author's unique style, you know how those intricate feelings of sorrow and hope, cringe-worthy ugliness and beauty, violence and healing, swirl and blend together.

"Not only had my dad sent me a guardian angel, but he sent me the deadliest one of them all."

Hostile Saint's incredibly intense atmosphere will take you on a path of revenge, love, family, compassion. I absolutely loved the cross-overs with the Haunted Road series. Seeing the pieces of the larger picture click together amazed me.

Tate and Lacey's connection through the most evil acts of torture chilled me. Their pure love helped them survive the unthinkable. Told from Tate's point of view, their story brought me to tears of anger and sadness but also of joy and fun. This is a perfectly balanced tale where the goodness sends sparkles against the atrocities of the heroes' lives. To see him evolve, grow thanks to the big bad bikers felt incredibly good, the tender moments eclipsing the tough ones.

"How these men could make me laugh while my life was an absolute train wreck was a testament to what they were made of."

This read once again perfectly illustrate and sums up #Damaged souls are worth saving.

I'll admit I went into this expecting a typical dirty MC novel.

This story is so much more. I was utterly enthralled by each and every character. The depth given to each and every one of them is incredible and you really feel all their emotions.

Tate and Lacey are clearly meant to be and his dedication to her broke my heart. Despite everything they've been through they're survivors. At what seems like the end for both of them the Steel stallions stumble across Tate and a whole new chapter begins.

There are secrets, lies and tales of heartbreaking abuse and mistreatment. This isn't for the faint of heart but honestly it is so worth it. I don't want to say too much and spoil it but don't be surprised if you shed a tear or 100

I wish I could give this book more than 5 stars, because it was such an amazing book! This is the extended version from the prequel Hostile Illusions. I'm so very glad that India decided to give Lacey and Tate their HEA, because their love deserves to be told. I'm not going to lie this book was so very hard to read as I turned page after page reading it and I have no triggers at the evil that people will do against someone who is weaker.
This story will break your heart hell I was crying throughout the whole book, but hold on as these 2 get the retribution they so richly deserve.
This book is very raw and so very dark it deals with such abuse you have to wonder...how? How can people be that evil, but it does exist and there are people that are just as ugly and evil who do these kind of thing's and that there are angels who exist to help carry you when you feel like giving up.
This book as you go through each chapter India does say that each chapter means something and I've read thousands of book's not even realizing that until this book, so if your willing to step into this world of pain, devastation, despair, revenge for the evil thing's men do then you need to grab this book up it's one you definitely won't want to miss.

Trigger Warning: If you need one, this book isn't for you.

This book took me by complete surprise.

I went into this book expecting a dark, MC romance but what I got was so much more.

The romance between Tate and Lacey is sweet but overshadowed by some horrific stuff. What they endure as a couple and as individuals is scary and heartbreaking.

I love how the author wrote a compelling and suspenseful story that had me smiling, crying and yelling at times. How she shows that the power of love can overcome anything and family is not just about blood, is truly beautiful.

I am not sure where to even start with this review. That seems to happen a lot when I read anything from this author. She never ceases to take me on a journey that is sure to stir up a maelstrom of emotions. I am always captivated by this author's innate ability to tap into my soul with her words but somehow, every time, she manages to do it. This book is an example of that gift.

I first had read about these amazing characters from the Institute anthology. That story was later redone as Hostile Illusions and from both versions, I was hooked. Her words are poignantly juxtaposed with heartbreak. Yet, it is always redemptive in a way because it also shows the power of love and hope. She is not afraid to tackle subjects that are uncomfortable because she knows the power of words and action. The back story and mystery that went on in this story and the reasons why behind it were horrifying for lack of a different word. Yet, that is the power because things like this are happening in the world.

From the first moment I met Lacey and Tate, I wanted to reach into my kindle and love them. I have been waiting for what seems like forever to finally see them find a sense of peace and happiness. Good Lord did they ever deserve it. I saw them briefly at the end of the Haunted Roads series and my heart soared because they were doing well. What I didn't know was their story of how they got to that point from Hostile Illusions. I finally got that backstory. I thought I was prepared for it but holy hell was this a bumpy ride. Even with some of the memories being talked about a second time, I still was not prepared for it. That is par for the course with this author though, she always takes me in a different direction than I was expecting.

As mentioned, this road is bumpy, like offroading on crack. Even though this story hurts to read in parts, it still was beautiful. I think that is one of the things that always leaves me in awe with this author is that she can always traverse the fine line of being TOO much without falling into the precipice of the abyss. There are truth and beauty in everything she writes. However, she doesn't sugarcoat the darkness and depravity of mankind. Watching these characters that have been through hell and back come back from what I imagine the 10th level of purgatory to be and find that they were, as the singer Pink says, "...not broken, just bent" is the greatest reward for not just Tate and Lacey or the secondary characters that stole my heart, but it is also a reward for me, the reader because it proves that love can heal, and these characters can do it together.

I am a firm believer in signs and this book had them. I like it when an author can do that because it makes the story feel that much more authentic which is remarkable considering this still is a work of fiction. The ending was a sucker punch on where she intends to take this story. Even though Tate and Lacey's story is over, I imagine I will be seeing them again in the future in a different book. The author sure tied together this book and a morsel of goodness that gives the idea of what is to come in the next book, and I just have to say that I am here for it.

I will give a warning that this book is heavy and has triggers. Proceed accordingly. For those out there willing to try it, I can say that the superb writing and amazing story and characters will not let you down in this book. just like with every book that this amazing author writes, she leaves me spellbound, and she always, without fail, changes the template of who I am by way of her words. She changes how I see the world around me. I am ever watchful. Kudos to this author.

Hostile Saint is a serious roller coaster ride of emotions.
*****
Rating; 5 life master stars
Steam: 2 flames
Genre: MC / Revenge / Suspense / DARK
Triggers: Just assume if you have a trigger, it is in this book
*****
By the end of the first chapter, I was tearing up, then overjoyed, crying, laughing out loud, angry, and then filled with hope. My emotions were like a chameleon in a bowl of skittles, constantly changing. I had no idea what was coming from one moment to the next or how it was possible to swing from tears to laughter in just a single paragraph.

Hostile Saint is Tate’s side of Lacey and Tate’s love story. Lacey’s side is in Hostile Illusions. Folks I thought Hostile Illusions broke me...yeah, Hostile Saint next leveled the pain and heartbreak I felt. What Tate and Lacey survived was horrendous and as the layers of the story were peeled back, I was both horrified and angered by their plight and as more secrets were revealed I was in awe at how everything started to tie together.

I am not going to spoil anything, and I am glad I didn’t read any reviews because I would have hated for someone to give the twists away. What I will tell you is Lynx, Vice, Dagger and all the Steel Stallions are fantastic and each one wormed their way into my heart. Tate and Lacey have a terrible journey of survival filled with pain, discovery, and healing. But to get to sugar kisses and a HEA is worth it! I don’t think I have ever rooted for a couple as hard as I did these two.

It’s going to take me a bit to recover from the depths of depravity and evil in this book. But, if you can handle dark, like bordering pitch black, pain, violence, with a light at the end of the tunnel...I highly recommend you read Hostile Illusions (the link to the download is at the beginning of Hostile Saint) and Hostile Saint. It is a journey you won’t forgot or be disappointed in. India R. Adams was just added to my must-read author list and I will be hitting up her Haunted Roads series next.

Why 2 stars? Cuz even though the plot was ridiculous, I loved Saint and his love for Lacey and how the MC dudes helped him.

Saint and Lacey love each other but both their brothers abuse them and finally decide to kill them. Lacey runs away to find help for herself and Saint and lands herself in a hospital while MC club dudes find Saint and help him heal and then find Lacey. Now the story was going okay, i was in love with Saint and his determination to get Lacey back + the way the MC dudes took him in as their son, basically adopted him. After 50% it gets ridiculous.

This story was about Saint and Lacey’s brothers abusing + killing them. It went from that to Saint’s bro and mom not being his real family to Satanic rituals to Saint’s dead uncle to Saint’s real dad and mom once being victims of this abuse to scientists experimenting on kids and MODIFYING THEM and giving them some kind of special powers ( Saint and Lacey being one of those kids) to Lacey’s mom a bitch to not being a bitch but rather trying to help her daughter to those evil brothers trying to kill Saint and Lacey not being truely evil but that because they were “modified” as well which made them evil to Saint might also turn evil to Saints mom being alive to Lacey killing herself but not dying to the end.

Do u get how confusing the plot was. I mean just stick to one plot twist. There were several. Why like how. Seriously? “Modified kids”? Satanic rituals was fine. But scientists experimenting on bunch of kids and Saint want to save them all like once his dad tried to save? All these shit just went above my head like tf?

Aside from the whole fucking plot that confused the shit out of me. I actually loved the way Saint loved Lacey and did everything for her. Also the highlight of the book was the MC club + how they literally adopted Saint and helped him take revenge.

The last 6 months or so I've found it's the unique stories, the complex ones with plots that leave me both breathless and stunned that hold my attention. It's the ones with characters that have been knocked down by life so many times, they're so broken and damaged, and yet they find the strength to keep going. To heal. To grow. To live. Hostile Saint was one more added to the list of books that fed my newest addiction.

India R. Adams somehow manages to give me what I never knew I needed with each story I read of hers. Hostile Saint is no exception. It was nothing like what I expected, but so much more than I ever could have imagined. It was truly a masterpiece. It's about the journey, about building new foundations, and about appreciating the little things most of us take for granted. It's about acceptance, family, friendship, and loyalty. This author humbles me with her words. Her stories remind me of what's truly important in life.

This book was unique in that we saw the building of several relationships through Saint's introduction to the Stallions. Lynx, Dagger, Diesel, and Vice and so many others were the men Saint needed to find his footing, to show him a new way to live, and show him how to be the man he needed to be for his Pretty Girl. Elle and Justice provided their own lessons in acceptance and strength. They made him a part of a true family. A brotherhood. They gave him a place where he would never again be alone in his battles. They gave him laughter and safety which seem like small things to the average person, but to Saint, these little things were everything. Through his innocence, pain, and strength he changed each one of them as well. For the better. He showed them vulnerability, selflessness, humility, and the true power of love.

Mrs. Adams managed to insert moments of levity in between the heartache and revelations. The relationship between Lynx, Dagger, Vice, and Saint was nothing short of perfection. They were hilarious and kept me on the edge of my seat. How this author can take me from tears one moment to laughing so hard I can barely breathe the next, is just a small bit of proof of her talent. I was not expecting this side of the story, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Also, I'll never again look at a wooden spoon without dying laughing!

There are numerous triggers with this book. I know this author's books aren't for everyone. Understandably, not everyone can read about the horrible side of humanity, the ugliness that exists in this world, or the damage left in the wake of such abuse. For those that can, these stories inspire hope, inspiration, and healing. They are proof that even from the worst of times something beautiful can bloom. I find strength and peace in witnessing the healing journey of her characters.

I do hope you will take this journey. It's both heartbreaking and inspiring. It's a common theme you will find in this author's work. That's just one of the reasons I will always recommend her books.

I finished this book days ago, but my head is still spinning, and my heart is still pounding. I've been trying to organize my thoughts to write this review, but I'm still stuck in this world and I honestly never want to leave. I am a HUGE MC fan so to say I was excited for this book is an understatement. After reading the prequel to this story, Hostile Illusions, I thought I knew what was coming. I thought I knew what to expect. I was wrong! Once again Adams has written something so unique, so raw, so brutally beautiful I was left speechless!
If you've read or heard of India R. Adams, then you know she tackles some very sensitive subjects in her books that can be extremely hard to read. This isn't done for shock value or just to invoke emotion in her readers. It is to bring awareness to the abuse happening all over the world. As a survivor herself and an advocate she uses her stories to give a voice to the victims. Hostile Saint is one of these stories so please read the author warning at the front of the book and prepare yourselves for the journey. The kind of journey that only she can create!
Hostile Saint is Tate and Lacey's story and told from Tate's POV. It is a continuation of the novella Hostile Illusions told from Lacey's POV, but it can be read as a standalone. Hostile Illusions is available for free when you sign up for the author's newsletter.
Tate and Lacey have suffered unspeakable abuse all their lives and are tragically separated when that abuse escalates, and they are left for dead. When Tate is found by some members of the Steel Stallions MC, they take him in and vow to help him find his girl and keep them both safe. With the help of the MC, Tate embarks on a journey to discover the truth of his and Lacey's past and battles in more ways than one to get his girl back.
Tate and Lacey are one of the most special couples I've ever read. They have this beautiful innocence about them despite everything they've been through and all the brutality they've suffered. They share a deep, everlasting love and an unyielding faith in each other that brought me to tears. The strength they found within themselves and each other is truly inspiring.
The bond that develops between Tate and the MC during their journey is just one of the many things that sets this book apart from other MC series. The depth of emotion we get from these rough, tough, foul mouthed, ultimate Alpha males is written so beautifully I found myself re-reading some pages over and over again! This crazy group of bikers will make you laugh, make you cry, make you swoon and melt your heart.
One of my favorite things about Adams’s writing is her character development. Her ability to make us fall madly in love with the secondary characters in her stories yet never make it feel like they are taking too much focus off the lead characters. Lynx and Elle for example damn near stole the top spot on my favorite couples list and it's not even their book! That's how well written each and every character is. She is also the queen of interconnecting her stories and characters making you desperate to read her previous books and dropping breadcrumbs that make you crazy with anticipation for her future books. The webs she weaves throughout her storylines is unmatched by any other author I've read, and she outdid herself in this book. She takes us on a wild ride full of thrilling mystery, intrigue and mind-blowing revelations and sets the stage for a powerhouse of a MC series like no other! Hostile Saint is a heartbreakingly beautiful story of strength, resilience, undying love, and unwavering loyalty that will grab your heart and never let go! My top read of 2021!

"Thats where your cry saved me. You called out for the pack to hear you. They did baby." This gives me chills..

I have been brought to my knees with Tate and Lacey. I dont normally read m/f anymore, usually RH but this one I just felt I needed to read. With the cover, the blurb, I was drawn in. I have been grateful to say that alot of books have devastated me, broke me, changed something in me, but this one just destroyed me. Tate and Lacey, you all are not ready for their story. Its dark, twisted, heartwrenchingly devastating but it makes you just want to stand up and root for them, I wanted to stand up and clap for them at times, but I also sat here and just cried. I am not sorry. I was drastically unprepared for this story. I have not read India before(what was I thinking?) I thought I had read survival stories before but this one was a entity of its own.

Tate and Lacey have known each other for a long time, they have been through things that should not even be a thing. Then you tie it up with a MC club and you think, how could this even work? Would it even make sense but the way she writes gives it life, like butterflies coming out of their cocoon, and of course the phoenix rising above their tormentors. The thought that went into this story must of been monumentally difficult because of the nature of the crimes. But it is described in devastating details and brings to light some difficult truths...It was amazing.. Tates love for her is truly something out of this world.

But on the other hand I appreciate the new way in which I have seen an MC. I love it. Lynx, Vice, Dagger, I cant help but sit here and smile.. They really gave Saint hope in a world that rarely sees it. And to reunite him with what he treasures most was truly beautiful but man that epilogue killed me. I would love to see Tates face at that revelation.. But wow, this story was nothing like i expected it to be and it will stay with me forever..You have to read this. I will be reading this authors other books. A MUST READ

The Earth is 4.5 billion years old and I am lucky enough to live at the same time India R Adams is publishing her incredible work. If that isn’t a prime example of what a time to be alive, I don’t know what is. I mean, honestly.

With each new book of hers, I think, how could I possibly love this author more? Is it possible? Then I finish said book and yes, it is possible to love her and her magnificent talent more. There is truly no one else like her, no one else that can break your heart, splinter it into a thousand pieces in one paragraph, then a few paragraphs later have you literally laughing out loud. But oh, she does! And with such ease, too. Her writing appears effortless, although I can only imagine the toll all her stories must take. Tate and Lacey are no exception, either.

I thought my heart broke for these two sweet souls in Hostile Illusions, but after having to reread several pages because I couldn’t clearly read the words due to the ugly sobbing I had going on, I at one point didn’t think I was strong enough to carry on. But then I thought of Saint, of his Pretty Girl, of their sugar kisses, of the pure, pure hearts they both have, and in them I found the strength to continue on. I’m so glad I did.

I wouldn’t dare try to rehash the events of this book, for that would be a disservice to all involved. This book is an experience. It needs to be felt. It needs to be lived through. I won’t lie and say it won’t destroy you, it will. It will hurt so much. Your soul will cry out for all the injustices endured, but India shows mercy. She gives you sweetness when needed, laughter when needed. She’ll have you looking at wooden kitchen spoons in a new light. Oh, my Spoon Bandit, how I love you so.

But this isn’t just about Tate and Lacey’s journey. It’s about Saint. It’s about Noble and Jamie. It’s about parents and children, brothers. Familial bonds, blood or not.

I’m never the same person as I finish one of India’s books compared to when I start one. I feel braver. Stronger. I’m so glad I was turned on to her work. I can honestly say how life changing she is.

This is an intense book with a lot of traumatic experiences and memories that is written so poetically.
The emotions are big and heavy yet the author is able to infuse humor and such beautiful humanity, decency and loyalty in the midst of truly horrific events.
I LOVE the characters so much! I love the incredible journey of the main characters and the secondary who play a huge part in the story.
The experience of joy in the small things is a huge personal takeaway from this book. Living and acknowledging every moment of happiness was really driven into my mind and heart because of this story.
It’s tragic, it’s dark, it’s also so beautiful and inspiring.
This is a book that is so unique. The multitude of emotions I felt were overwhelming at times.
The symbolism and the feeling of something bigger at play akin to something a bit like fate, yet not quite was beautiful and not overdone. Sometimes it can be a bit too much for my personal taste. I think in this book it was pitch perfect.
I will say sensitive readers be aware that there are many things that could be triggering or just too much for some to read.
I don’t think any of those things were unnecessarily detailed considering the scope of the story. They are not glossed over, they don’t feel like they are for shock factor. It was all necessary in my opinion and it was very uncomfortable at times.
It has these dark and horrifying events and it was a story that had my heart in my throat and my stomach in knots. I was so invested in the characters. It made the positive aspects so much more impactful and truly heartwarming.
I love the balance between the dark and light. The humor and the positive emotional moments were the kind that made me actually tear up and smile.
The quiet moments when something is newly discovered, experienced or learned by the characters were incredibly powerful.
The unbreakable bonds of many types of love took my breath away and made my heart soar.
All of the lovable characters will live forever in my mind and heart. This is a really special book, the pain and horrifying scenes were worth the incredibly inspiring, beautiful threads of love, devotion and loyalty that are woven between many of the characters.

I dont even have the perfect words to describe this story. Not only does it deserve all the stars there are, but it deserves all the love and recognition any book could get! Its dark and dirty and horrific and yet so gentle and simple and brings the little joys of every day into view. This story is one that will live long in your soul for years to come . . . It breaks you apart in so many ways but puts you back together so perfectly imperfect that you can't help but to view things differently. . . And then start to beg for more, and probably not so graciously I might add.

P.S. lots of tears, maybe some ugly crying . . . But you won't want to stop reading. We are here for you . . . Evermore!

Also, read Hostile Illusions first. You don't have to but if you do, I think it brings so much more to this story.

Tate and Lace will forever be some of my favorite characters, but I truly just want to hug a biker. Every single named character in this story just calls out to be noticed. And when their stories arrive, I will gladly read each one! And this is definitely not your typical MC book but if you thought India would bring you typical, then you must be new to her. India magically weaves together some of the most flawed and broken souls to have ever existed and then they become the most unforgettable heart scarring to have ever graced the written world. If you don't believe me . . . Then read this! I won't even say I told you so . . .

So in conclusion. . . FLOVED IT . . . A million and 1 stars entered here . . . One of my favorite books of the year!

Normally I can breeze through books like the wind through the trees. Yes, I read fast! This was not the case with Hostile Saint. This time I had to take my time, think about this book, absorb every detail and calm my heart.
Motorcycle books are not usually my top genre of choice. I’m so glad I picked this book. Although it did at times splinter and emotionally drain me. It also gave me a different perspective on how we view and prejudge that which we are unfamiliar and uncomfortable with. Maybe being uncomfortable is a good thing. If we open up to this sensation we are allowing ourselves to see all sides. It doesn’t mean we accept it. It means we acquire an understanding.

This book is so much more than a motorcycle story. It has aspects of Romeo and Juliet and their everlasting enduring love, along with some themes of Macbeth as in; good versus evil, ambition, the influence of supernatural forces and the contrast between appearance and reality, loyalty and guilt. There were times I felt like history was repeating itself in the most horrific of ways. I don’t do spoilers. You have to read it for yourself to get all the references. What you will discover are things aren’t always as they appear in everything. Duality is ever present in all things and situations. There are circumstances beyond our control and destiny in all of life.

All that being said the innocence out of the horrific made me well up on several occasions. Watching the mighty bow and give in to their softer side was worth the read alone. I fell in love with not just the hero and heroine but the entire brotherhood. Too, the women are dynamic, smart and powerful. To see their place in the pack was heartwarming. At times they are revered.
Tate and Lacey will melt your heart. Lynx, Elle and the Stallions will rope you in and tie your heart and soul to them. Meanwhile the darkness will rip you to shreds. You will experience a whiplash of emotions and be riveted to this story. You’ll literally feel the instincts of Charlie to Tate, knowing all of life has a spiritual attachment to everyone and everything.
I highlighted several passages that touched my soul and those that made me laugh but you need to read this book for yourself.

I’ve read just about everything India has written and loved them all. Her style is all her own and she owns it with no apologies. However, this time she has taken her writing in this genre to a whole other level. I say this because she has done this before in another genre but in the MC genre she has outdone herself.
I didn’t want this book to end. I can’t wait for the next one to come out because in India fashion she dropped a bomb on me... well everyone who reads this.
What starts out as the anti fairytale becomes the definition of a true diamond in the rough. Sometimes you just need to look beyond the outward appearance, the surface, to get to the heart. True beauty in everything is in the eye of the beholder. What a beauty this is!

I absolutely loved the prequel to this book, Hostile Illusions, where it was written from Lacey’s point of view and while it was so tragic it was heartbreakingly beautiful too. So I was very keen to read this book and hear Tate’s point of view—let me tell you, it is sensational and even more than I expected! I should have known it would be though, as this author is brilliant.

While at times it isn’t easy to read about Tate and Lacey’s past, it is necessary and only details that were specifically needed were given—such a good balance was achieved. Yes, it is a dark story, how could it not be with the subject matter, but it is so much more and that shines out above everything else.

Tate is such a fantastic character and Saint is the perfect road name for him. Having liked both he and Lacey enormously in book one, I found myself loving them all over again but even more. As the story progresses we see Tate grow and although some of his life lessons are bitter pills for him to swallow his wonderful nature and way of seeing things aids him so much. Getting to know the main characters in the hierarchy of the Steel Stallions MC is illuminating and they charmed me too. There were many times where they cracked up laughing and it certainly lightened the story and brought a smile to my face. The question begs to be asked, “Just who was learning the most valuable lessons? Tate or his Steel Stallion brothers?”

As the story unfolds there are missing puzzle pieces that start to slot into place and then, zap! More movement with new twists and turns and some pieces get moved around on the board again while others are introduced. This is the ultimate unpredictable story and I literally can’t write how brilliant it is, my words can not do it justice.

I don’t just recommend this book, I insist you do yourself a favour and read both books. If I could give it more stars... I would!

I IMPLORE you, before reading this book, read Hostile Illusions. It is absolutely worth the time. Do it.

So with Hostile Saint we get the story from Tate's POV. And, man I was already bleeding through my heart when I hit page one. The feels hit hard and heavy immediately. Do not expect to be eased into it. It's like waking up naked in a hurricane. Grab an inhaler. You will be winded.

After a rough first chapter there is such warmth between the characters and I was on the verge between laughing and crying constantly. Tate is a wounded soul doing everything he can to stay whole for the girl he loves. Despite being a tortured creature betrayed by those who should care for him he bleeds nothing but innocence. He is absolutely incredible. His integrity stays true no matter the wrongs brought against him.

Heartbreak is peppered through pages of healing. There are happy moments that made you almost forget what these kids went through. And they are just kids. Kids living through a story that will be too familiar for some. This book makes it easy to forget that it's fiction.

The characters are so lucidly written I had to double check to make sure they weren't in the room with me. Like, how are they not real people? It's a talent that speaks volumes when a reader forgets all about the author and their part in a book. We forget that The book doesn't write itself. The guys in the MC were so goofy sometimes I was cracking up. And then emotions would sky rocket again. You were with them all the way through it. It was all so vivid.

“You feel me, Saint?”

I crumbled. I just....like a paper house. Be still my battered heart. Lynx was inspirational. Can he be my dad? We could all use a man like him in our corner. Even if just through the pages of a book. And guys, I'm only halfway through the book right now. Then...

It. Got. INSANE. Brace yourself for triggers involving children especially.

I could carry on forever. This book called to me. Like the pleading cry of a wolf in the night, it begged to be read. It begged to be loved. It begged to be felt. You feel me?

I freaking loved this story!

Hostile Saint was different to any MC book I’ve ever read before. So many emotions...My heart broke, it was mended, I laughed, I cried, I raged then I ended it with the biggest smile. India gives the warning that the opening chapters will bring to your knees and that is exactly what happened. This story will hit you in the hardest way. It’s not a pretty or an easy read but my god it’s worth the read!

Hostile Saint was my first book by this author but it definitely won’t be my last. The way she told the story had me glued to the pages. Then humour she managed to bring to such an emotion story amazed me. There were times I was laughing out loud with some of the phrases that were written.

“Why are you guys injured?” One biker grumbled, “Ask the spoon bandit.”

“Pussified!” yelled a crying Vice. “I am absolutely pussified!”

The characters made the book. I easily connected with them all. My heart broke for what Tate and Lacey went through but the way Tate changed when Lynx, Dagger and Vice took him under their wing was inspiring. I loved and was saddened at how innocent Tate was with the simplest things.
The bonds formed with the characters brought out a whole other set of emotions. I loved how quickly Tate was taken under the stallions wings and how quickly Lynx loved him and the protectiveness they all felt over both Tate and Lacey.
Don’t even get me started on the bond between Tate and Lacey...they survived the most truly horrific things together but shared a love and bond like no other. Their devotion to each other was everything and they love...Evermore!

This story will definitely stick with me for a good while. It was nothing like I expected but so much more than I could have wanted. This is definitely a must read for 2021!

Bitter Sweet

This book starts off heartbreakingly sad, like tears in your eyes sad before it starts to mend the cracks its created. I don't normally read such emotional stories and I blame my lack of reading the synopsis for this one but if you are like me and don't either be prepared as Hostile Saint starts in the deep trigger territory before it slows down and pulls back layers and layers of emotion and heart felt, raging anger.

Although an engaging read it was a little slow at parts which was understandable due to the nature of the story, its also not your average MC trope, its more an MC Love Story, but I can say I continued to read so it wasn't slow enough to prevent that but it ended perfectly and for that I am grateful.

Out of the horror came alliances—a family that would never hurt us or let us go.
Out of the nightmare came me: Hostile Saint.
Out of love, came… Noble Lycan Bryant.
-----------

Yin and Yang.
Good and bad.
Lacey and Tate.
Scar to scar is how we were
I will. For her, I’ll do anything.
She is the air for my damaged lungs.
My Pretty Girl
I told her sugar fixes everything. Vanilla shake. First kiss.
-------------

Journey of truth

Damien, Jarod, Jake, Crow,
..you didn’t break her... ..you didn’t break me, either.. You failed.
May every scream you forced from her haunt your eternity in Hell.
-------------

Dragons
They’re going to help me. They’re going to help my Pretty Girl.
Not only had my dad sent me a guardian angel, but he sent me the deadliest one of them all.

"Wounded souls and hearts with holes
May you forever be
Lovers of the night, willing to fight
May you forever… be"

This book.
I was literally counting the days waiting for this book.
This is one of those books I just want to hold close to my heart and never let go.

Read the prequel first - Hostile Illusions - to be able to understand this book.
It will take an hour/two of your time but it will give you so much more.
India has a way of writing that hits you directly in your heart and your soul.
Absolutely perfect book!

There has yet to be a book written by Adams that I didn't love and Hostile Saint is no exception. This book is a beautiful combination of light and dark, soul gripping story telling. It's full of hurt and healing in their own ways. Every time I think I know where Adams will go next, I'm blown away by the twists and turns I never could have imagined.

I'm blessed to have found this author and found her words. They are life changing. I definitely recommend this book and all her others too, while you're at it. Happy reading.
