Watch Me Burn #8

Sinners Reign

Rate this book
The wars have ended, and we are finally at peace.
I never thought I’d be glad to not have to shoot at someone.
I guess I’m not that crazy after all.

The Psychos and Devils have expanded business, and things are running smoothly.
Between the crews and my guys, I have the family I’d always wished for.
Nothing can shake us, we reign over this town.

We are both feared and respected, nothing will stop us.
Other crews have become allies, and the cops turn a blind eye.
We built our own kingdom.

My guys don’t understand why I’m so out of control, but they’re trying hard to help me.
I guess after years of being let down by my father, I’m scarred for life.
But then it happens, I didn’t want this, and I’ve never been more terrified.

I didn’t want things to change, but fate has a way of surprising us.
I can’t cope with the curve balls being thrown my way.
I never expected this, and I’m slowly suffocating.

My name’s Rory Donovan, and I’m about to face my biggest fear of all.
I’m going to be a mom.

I’ve adored this harem from day one.

Watching a debut author, plow through an eight book series was a fun ride. While it’s sad to see them go, I enjoyed each and every character and their flaws. Some more so than others. It’s nice to see them as a family unit.

“I don’t want any of it, Hunter! I don’t want things to change at all, this is all I’m willing to give you guys, don’t you see that?!”

Rory was a lit fuse from page one. Nothing unusual for her character. Her inability to voice her needs, rather than act out, her guys thankfully showed the maturity she lacked. It’s five years after book one when SR begins.

As always, conflict abounded. Rory failed to appreciate her supportive and cohesive harem. She lashed out constantly, with bratty behaviour, taking her guys for granted early in the book. They’d all established lives, businesses, outside of the immediate unity. They remained by her side despite her drama. While their devotion centered around her, they’d formed their own interconnected relationships supporting each other.

We knew early on motherhood wasn’t part of Rory’s plan. I was a little surprised the path this headed, it’s very much an RH plot idea tidying things with a happy family. It worked for Rory’s harem.

Skeeter’s actions, I found confusing at times. He felt very different character wise. One new dynamic was interesting, it provided lots of tension, coming out of left field. I’d have loved more from his POV. Being in his head space rather than being told. 😉

“I’m stronger than you, because I don’t let my emotions come into play. You think with anger, which causes room for error.”

Lukas summed Skeeter up perfectly above.

I missed my much needed Jensen and Lukas fix. Waited for more on Jensen’s back story 😢 I understand it’s a lot to tie together and keep up with.

A few points were a little were confusing, heading off seemingly randomly. Some references were repeated. Would have loved more details. A few things were skipped, and there’s a time jump.

Primarily concentrated around the FMC’s from previous books, pregnancies and children. I have a soft spot for Pretty Lies and Pretty Jaded. The character introductions, and Jade’s depth will remain my favourites.

This was a nice way to tie up and end to the series. 4.25 ⭐️

OMG

I kind of knew what this book was going to be about, meaning the main reason for the book lol. But holy shit my brain was just totally blown away and smooshed to smithereens.

It kind of reminded me of a nursery rhyme, I'm not 100% sure how it goes but let's try it.

There was an old lady who lived in the shoe, she had so many children she didn't know what to do..

That's about the only bit that I remember lol.

But seriously. She goes from not wanting to your mom to basically having a harem of children lol. Okay that might have been a little bit too gross but you get my point. She has her own football team lol.

And I love the fact that she goes from never wanted to have her own children to having how many LOL just kidding I know how many.

I really enjoyed this book. And I can't wait to read the children's stories. FF isn't really my genre but I might read it. Just so I can follow along in the stories.

I have to say that I am enjoying this author because, well she makes you feel everything. And that's always a plus. You can get lost in her books. By the time that you take your head out of the book you don't realize that you've read eight of them already lol. And I also like the fact that she is writing books for the next generation.

I always find it disappointing when the author will introduce children into the main storyline but then not carry on the next generation.

If you're going to introduce a gaggle of children into a storyline then at least tell us what happens in the future.

And we don't have to worry about that because their books are coming out. Yay. But alas, now I have to wonder what I should read now lol.

This is the final book in the Watch me burn series. IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY STARTED THIS SERIES, NEED TO RIGHT NOW!!! This cannot be read as a standalone. NOTE: Even though books 5, 6, 7, were different character's POV, it is extremely important to read in order to follow the series' events. What an insane, wild ride this has been. I am legit ugly sobbing. This is an epic conclusion to this series. Rory and the guys have really grown up since the very first book. And to think we aren't done with this universe makes me EXTREMELY happy.....no spoilers there 😁

Rory fucking Donovan!
It felt really nice coming a full circle with these character and the growth witnessed in this book is outstanding.
Lukas!!! He’ll forever have my heart.
These story was filled with shocking revelations and maturity as they all figure out how to be parents. It was heart warming, scary, and thrilling.
I didn’t want it to end but Rach really did close the series on the perfect note.

Well done!!

4/4.5 ⭐️

From the first book Pretty Lies to Sinners Reign the finale in author R.E. Bond’s Watch Me Burn series. It has been a non-stop whirlwind ride of a journey, considering the dark, crazy, hectic and maniac-ness that Rory and her guys got up to all throughout the series. Whilst being deep, heartfelt, heartbreaking, traumatic and saddening seeing the pain they all suffered and went through individually. Especially Rory who went through hell and back many times over throughout.
So to now to see her face her biggest challenge yet, ultimately lead to an adventure that consisted of being a rough, turbulent journey that was tempestuous with the many forms of emotions and feelings that came pouring out from the pages.
It was emotionally charged from the get go, given the erratic behaviour of Rory that had her guys worried in trying to get a handle of it with finding a solution leading to a lot of emotional turmoil and angsty moments.

Over the years they have all continued to grow and adapt, but within Sinner Reigns it was even more so than usually, bringing them all even more closer together than ever before. Considering all the new challenges that life seemed to be throwing their way within Sinners Reigns. Especially for Rory when she got the biggest surprise of all of finding out she was going to be a mom, something that truly scared her. But being the badass that she was and with the help of her 9 baby daddies, once again she proved she could do anything if she believed in herself and put her mind to it.
However getting to that point wasn’t all sunshine and daisies, considering all the obstacles and hurdles that came her. The main being herself in her confidence and belief whether motherhood was for her, seeing as her upbringing wasn’t the best and ultimately had her thinking otherwise because of it. Which is when the story had you feeling down the rabbit hole alongside Rory, given the battle that she fought in regards to motherhood. It brought a genuine and authentic feel to the story. The thorough details that R.E. Bond included, especially when it came to the sentiments that Rory was experiencing is what allowed us to see and feel an in-depth sense of reality from the nitty grittiness that brought the story to life.
Within those moments was when a heavy outpour of emotions came rushing out, leading to the usual Red-Hot, Spicy steam. Though it wasn’t surprising since Rory and her guys could never get enough of each other.

With that said there was something that irked me and that was the mini short side storyline that revolved around Skeet and some others. It just didn’t feel right to me with not being a fan, seeing as it just didn’t sit well with me when reading it.
In all honesty it just felt so out of character for Skeet IMO, especially when you compare Skeet to who and how he was in the first book Pretty Lies to now.
It was hard enough to accept who he had become when Marco came into the picture, since all that seemed to come out of left field to me. And so for all that occurred in Sinners Reign, he just seemed to do a complete 270. Becoming someone even more different altogether, as if reading about a whole new character who just went by his name. At least that was how it felt to me and for that it just didn’t allow me to accept it.
Also this may come across bias, since Skeet is my favourite. But the story definitely could've done with having more chapters that were told from his perspective IMO. Especially closer towards the end of the book, since it would’ve been nice to hear and see how he was dealing with the life changes that occurred seeing as he played a big part in it.

It was definitely bittersweet reading Sinners Reign knowing it was the end to Rory, Skeet and the others guys story. But that didn’t stop me from enjoying the book and being happy knowing they got the HEA they so deserved!
A job well done to R.E. Bond for writing a great finale to Watch Me Burn series. It has been a great journey to follow.

Oh fuck, this rollercoaster of emotions i have been on has been crazy. I fucking love Rory Donovan bossbitch, it´s just so her to be moody stabby and wanting to make someone bleed. The beginning was heart aching as fuck, the anxiety and all the damn fights. Rory as stubborn and hot headed as she always is. Skeeter and Rory is as toxic as ever. I do have a hate love thing with Skeeter, i feel like he has gone over the line sometimes but i can´t fault him he is acting like Rory a lot that´s why they r so toxic but i can´t forget how he treated her when he thought Rory had gone with the soldiers in book 4. But he can also be pretty damn good, being blunt and not fucking around telling Rory when she is in the wrong. Matching her energy

Rory, Jensen, Slash, Hunter, Marco, Skeeter, Lukas, Caden, Diesel and Tyler what a power couple , they are as crazy and insane as they come. It´s a package deal, want one? you will get 9 others in the bargain. lol.

I loved when she was taunting Rage, calling him angry man pissing him of which was hilarious.
I really liked to se the growth everyone has done, especially Rory coming from how she was in the first book to now is amazing. Even the guys has grown a fucking lot, they all have come down from how they where in the past and with all these kids they have settled. I do love tho that they still are the same years later when their kids is like 14, Rory is still the hot headed bitch and the guys still as dangerous and scary.

Oh i am liking that we will follow the next generation, i feel like it´s not that many that chooses to do a follow up with the kids. Beckett is going to be as badass and crazy as mommy Donovan. Ryder her twin a ladies man as his daddies. And the last is Riley, i wonder how she is gonna turn up to be. I thought Lloyd would get his own book tho, i guess his will come in the future??

btw yaay finally a whole book about pregnancy and kids, i feel like there is such a small part of the book which is about pregnancy and kids in RH books, it´s mostly in the end

This was one bittersweet journey and I'm sad to see it end. I loved Rory and all her guys with all my heart. They all went through so much together, so many ups and downs so many near deaths and life changes together but they were always there for each other no matter what.

This series has been nothing but phenomenal and Ms. Bond certainly has won some major gold stars for this series and I hope one day this series can turn into a tv series like on Netflix or even into a movie because damn this is one hell of a series that is so worth watching on tv.

All the characters will immediately capture your heart and they will never leave it and you could never just choose one guy for Rory. They are all perfect for her and they all match 100%. From the moment you pick up the first book all the way to the 8th book, I can guarantee you, you will not have time to skip and/or try and take a break to read something different in-between because that's how good this series is.

I will never and could never forget this series. It will forever be embedded in my head and heart.

I am looking forward to see what the next generation will bring us. I'm sure more chaos, danger, and thrills just like the Watch Me Burn series has.

CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE ADVENTURES!!

5 STARS

Sinners Reign by R.E. Bond is a dark romance reverse harem novel. This is the eighth and final book in the Watch Me Burn series.

Rachel knocked this series out of the park. I couldn't put the book down! I loved watching the growth in Rory as she became a mother in this book. She has grown so much since the beginning of the series.

I loved that you get Rory, Hunter, Marco, Slash, Skeeter, Lukas, Caden, Diesel, Tyler, Jensen, and Beckett's points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Rachel did a great job wrapping up the series. I can't wait to see what books she has in store for us after that epilogue from Beckett's point of view.

This book tore me apart and put me back together again. I laughed, I cried. I could feel the emotions and struggle that she felt at becoming something she was scared of.
I'm my opinion it was the perfect ending to the series and I am so excited for what's next to come with this crazy bunch.

love this series - absolutely fantastic

Such a great edition to the series.
So much occurs in such a short period of time, love Rory and her hot AF 9 men.
Great to see everyone growing up and moving on with their lives.
Steamy scenes were hot AF.
Loved the emotion in this book, the panic attacks and other parts that really make Rory relatable.
Overall a fantastic book.

I don't know how I made it this far. Rory is insufferable. She's incredibly annoying throughout the entire series. She's tough -sure. But only because she continuously gets herself in these ridiculous situations that she had to either fight out of or be saved from.

So annoying. Don't recommend it. While reading this, all her annoying tendencies caught up to me and I just couldn't finish it.

And reign those sinners did

Well….. we reached the end of Aurora’s story, including Caden, Jensen, Tyler, Lukas, Slash, Skeeter, Diesel, Hunter, Marko, Jade, Alex, Harley, Archer, Lexi, Rage and Charlie….. or have we?

What I liked about this book is we get to see, feel and experience Aurora’s fear of what it would be like to be a mother, to have children, due to her own trauma and background, she’s dead set against making this a reality, hurting some of her guys in the process, even having an open conversation about it, still makes it all the more raw.

Then Aurora makes a decision, taking in three children Lloyd, Mikey and Angel rescuing them from a horrible fate, only because she doesn’t want to see them separated in the foster system, she has no idea what she’s in for.

Only for herself to discover that she is pregnant, and with twins no less, well we can imagine how all their guys took that news lol. Then Jade welcomes her son Landon with Alex and Harley, then Aurora welcomes Beckett and Ryder, then Archer and Lexi welcome Tempest and Rage and Charlie welcome Zane.

It’s nice too see these crossover characters develop, becoming parents, learning to juggle there personal and professional lives, children, work commitments, it hasn’t made them soft, but makes you fall in love with these characters all over again.

And we get a time jump where we discover that Aurora has welcomed Riley and Marla, Archer and Lexi with Luna and Rage and Charlie with Phoenix, but in a surprising turn Aurora fosters another child, Maddox.

And to see Aurora’s life changed so drastically from being an angry teenage that had no one on her side, to having her nine guys who’d lay down their life for her, but last of all her eight children who loved her and she loved more than anything and the best thing she wouldn’t change a thing, for they are her life and she is there’s.

This book has triggers so may not be for you. This book has it all dark romance, bro-mancing, friendship, murder, madness, mayhem, revenge, vengeance, violence, adrenaline seeking suspense, twists, turns, truths.

This story is told from multiple POV, it will take you on a wild ride, having you turn page after page. This book had me from beginning to end. This author definitely knows how to write and I’ll be coming back for more.

And those s*x scenes were steamy, it had all the angry angst, hate, pleasure and passion one would except when you have nine guys to please every single day.

Aurora’s relationship with Caden, Tyler, Jensen, Lukas, Slash, Skeeter, Diesel, Hunter and Marko has grown in strength, but they all work together in there own way, because nothing and no one will get between Aurora and all of her alpha dominating, controlling, yet overly possessive guys. She loves them and they love he, regardless of all their differences, because they are all in this together, for life!

Am sad to see this story end with her nine guys, but it was definitely a bittersweet ending and happily ever after well deserved for all of them….. we’ll just maybe….. who knows!

This was such an unexpected, yet somehow absolutely perfect end to Rory and her harem of 9's story. The thing about this 8 book series is that while book 1-4 focuses on Rory building her harem, books 5-7 focus on other female characters finding their loves (with Rory and at least a few of her harem making appearances throughout those 3 books). Books 5-7 have even darker stories that deal with a lot of the potential triggers. Book 8 comes back around to Rory and her guys. Where most authors have so little time in a series that ever actually gives a real look at how the relationship dynamics work in these situations or give us a more in depth look 2, 4, 5 years down the road(typically these things end up rushed in a short epilogue so it can be tied in a pretty bow at the end). Well the conclusion gives a look at the struggles that come with not only making this type of relationship work, but also giving us a look at how past traumas can cause problems when you never truly dealt with the emotions that came with it. We get to see Rory grow so much on an emotional level in the final book, and that happens in the most unexpected, but perfect way. I'm excited for you all to read it.

Now the unfortunate thing is that the author told me those 3 books just haven't sold well. There are the "I won't read anything except Reverse Harem books" readers or the "I don't do side characters books" readers, who never even gave the books a chance. There are those who have triggers and I do understand the hesitation to read those 3 books because even I struggled to make it through some scenes. The sad part is that the emotions in all 3 of the books hit so hard that it didn't trivialize the events and showed the impact both physically and emotionally. Then there are those who refuse to even read the first 4 because there are occasional f/f events, and also 2 m/m pairings within the harem (I think the poor girl is probably ecstatic to get a break occasionally 🙈🤣). I think those pairings within the harem add to the dynamic and story. And when they are with Rory they focus on what she needs and wants. Heck even if it isn't something you like reading, you could always skim/skip past those scenes when you get to them because there is so much more to the story.

I am soooo excited! I have to get this out before I do the review on Sinners Reign. I am 🙏🏼 and🤞🏽 that the ending hints that there will be a second generation of Watch Me Burn. I really want to see how Beckett turns out. Sounds like she will be a perfect blend of Skeet and Rory! Anyway, back to Sinners Reign. Sinners Reign was all about Rory and her nine guys (boyfriends sound tame 😂), Hunter, Skeet, Slash, Marco, Caden, Jense, Lukas, Tyler, and Diesel all have grown since Rory’s, Caden’s, Tyler’s, Jense’s, and Lukas’ teenage years. Well, they are that much older than when the series started but so much has changed since Pretty Lies. I am definitely here for it! I love that we get more of Rory and her guys. They have overcome so much and have all changed and grown and in Sinners Reign you can find out how they have grown and changed and how much more they have to go to find their HEA!! I am so excited I doubt I will be thinking of much else trying to guess how Beckett and the rest of the kids have grown up to be and how they will get their own story. Can you imagine Skeet dealing with guys wanting to date his daughter?? I can’t wait to see what he does! Anyway, I highly recommend Sinners Reign, Watch Me Burn series, and R.E. Bond as an author. Almost forgot…R.E. Bond is a favorite author of mines. R.E. Has a way of creating characters that you can’t get enough of and it’s so easy to get lost in whatever book she wrote and not want to be distracted or have to stop reading then. I know that once I start reading I will be wholly involved and captivated till the very end. I can’t wait to see what happens next!! Happy reading!!

In Sinners Reign, we get to come back to Rory and her guys and see how they are doing a few years into their relationship. Im not sure about anyone else, but I was definitely curious to see how she was handling being with 9 men.

Rory was struggling with how to reconcile her vision of their future with each of the guys’. Would they each be able to be happy, even if they had to sacrifice part of what they had hoped to have in their future?

Rory has always struggled to communicate her feelings, and she usually ends up self-destructing instead. This obviously causes tension between her and the guys and we see them question the future of their relationship and whether they can actually make it work.

There were so many emotions in this book. Rory really grows and comes to terms with her past. You get a peak inside the guys’ heads to see how they are each handling everything going on. It was so nice to see how they worked through their issues and came out stronger as a family in the end. I was so happy to see them get their HEA.

Lukas wasn’t my favorite character in the earlier books, but he really stepped up in this book and melted my heart. I love all of Rory’s guys, but Skeeter and Caiden will always be my favorites. ❤️‍🔥

We get a peak at the other couples and how they are doing after each of their stories. We also find out that the story isn’t quite over and we will be getting a series featuring the next generation. The small preview drew me right in and I am so excited to read their stories! This series is definitely one of my favorites and I will absolutely be revisiting it many times in the future. 🖤

I was not ready for this series to end 😭 I didn’t want to read to fast cause you know it’s going to be finished but then when I started reading it that was it I couldn’t put it down as it’s just to bloody amazing!!!

I’ve followed this series when only the first 2 books had been released and I’ve loved every book. Then this last book was back to Rory and her Harem of hotties and things have definitely ramped up between them 🥵

I was so emotional throughout with everything going on and Rory trying to make sense of all her feelings. But I just felt this calm settle over her whilst reading and knew everything was going to happen the way it needed to for them all 😍

I loved every minute of this story and how the characters have developed further especially with their relationships. The bond they all have together as a team is unbreakable even if they fight (which with Rory and Skeeter it’s always going to happen)

There way so many times I literally laughed out loud which I love in a book especially when it has dark themes like this does. It’s a gift to be able to do that. I felt like I was living with the characters with how well it was written 🖤

This is a multi POV book which we all know I love. The spice was very 🥵🥵🥵🥵 especially with those turns 😜 The violence was as prevalent as it is in the other books but with the other story line going on it really didn’t need it.

It ended in a fantastic way and I can’t wait to see what the further holds maybe with the next generation 🖤

I’m not sure I have words to adequately describe my feelings for this book. I was so ready for it and not all at the same time. From book one of the watch me burn series Rory has been this bigger then life character and I feel in love with this twisted af world. I have loved and hated almost every character in this series but I am not ready to let them go. Diving into this book was bittersweet knowing this is the last in this series. (Really hoping to see some more of this world though hint hint)

I don’t think there could be a better ending. Honestly it was brutally honest perfection done in Bonds give no effs way that has you so enthralled you don’t realize it’s 4am and you need to go to bed. All these characters have grown through out the series but it dims in comparison to the amount of growth Rory does in this last book. I laughed, I cried, I screamed and I cheered along with her as she owns her truths unapologetically . I can’t say more because to me this is a series to go into blind and absorb it all. But like book one (one of my favorite books of the year) this one is also up there. It’s epic and mind blowing and a perfect ending to this series that captured so much of my heart it’s royally screwed up twisted way that will have me coming back to reread this series for years. I do believe that Bond is going to be a force. She came out swinging with her debut book and hasn’t stopped with each new release. Can’t wait to see where she takes us next.

Can’t get enough!

What can I say about Sinners Reign other then I simply adored this book.

I feel like it was the perfect wrap up to the series. In order for me to properly review this book, I feel like I need to touch on all the books.

This series started with a heroine that just wanted to blend in and be left alone. Rory had a very traumatic childhood and due to that, she didn’t trust easy. Throughout the first four books, it follows Rory with her men and see no matter how much life tests her, she will always come ahead. She becomes this badass fighter who’s shoots first and asks questions after. You watch as she comes into her own and knows exactly what she is worth.

I would be go in depth with her men but you have to meet those men in your own time. So many alpha males that should be clashing but they make it work. They all love Rory in their own way and the bond she has with every single one is so special.

The rest of the books (5-7) follow the love stories of the other characters in this world. You needed to learn their own stories to really appreciate this world. Then comes book 8, Sinners Reign that comes full circle to finish off Rory’s journey.

Not only did I loved getting back into Rory’s head but I loved how different this book was and how much it focused on family. I absolutely hands down loved this series and really hope for a spin in. I need to continue in this special world that was created.

Still on fire!

I don't even know where to begin this review. First off, wow, just spectacular. I'm going to be honest here, street crew romance was not my thing. The sign of an amazing & talented storyteller? She changed my mind! This whole world she built is my thing now.

Watch me burn series is an 8 book series that wraps up with this installment, Sinners Reign. All must be read in order.

Rory Donovan. If I ever had a girl crush on a fictional character, it would be her. Such a strong, kick butt character that grows so much in the series. She was dealt a bad hand with her father, she hides behind a mask in the beginning of the series and slowly grows into the most amazing woman. I can't write about each individual guy, because it would be long. Let's just focus on our Queen.

The author stays true to her dark romance roots with this finale. Never missing a beat with the debauchery and darkness. Rory discovers she's pregnant, while caring for three young children. The amount of freaking out the Rory experienced was on point. I laughed, I shed a happy tear or ten. Loved every minute of this book.

What you will find in this series:
Reverse Harem perfection, slow growing
Large harem
Character growth from teens to thirties
Action packed
Violence
All the emotional growth and feels. It truly is a rollercoaster in this series.
Side characters getting their own HEA
The best ending, or is it?

We made it...

I have to admit, if it wasn't obvious, this one took me a while to read. It was hard to do. I'd get started and then I'd realize I was blazing through, and well, I don't want it to be over. That's the hardest part of this book I think. It's the end.

We have been THROUGH it with this series. Life, death, celebrations, and so much growth. We've seen the absolute worst of characters become our favorites, we've seen favorites at their worst, and we've become very close with this whole family. This has been a series not only read, but lived.

Rory has proven a difficult character to embrace at times, she's easy to get angry with and hard to wrap your head around. She's just very real, and honestly kind of relatable. She takes on a lot in this book and it shows how strong she really is, we've always known but here we see it on an entirely different level. She's notorious for smashing her way through problems, and yes she still does a bit, but we see her learn to be a bit more delicate and I couldn't be more proud.

I'm equally proud of Bond for the hard work she's put into this series, Rory isn't the only one who's grown here. There's a piece of the author in every single one of these books and it's made us all feel like we're a part of this family right along with her. I've been stunned beginning to end and I can't wait to see all of the masterpieces she gives us hence forth!

I was not ready for this series to end 😭😭😭 from the beginning this series has always been a favorite mine. Rory is one of my all time favorite FMCs and she is and always will be a hot mess. She loves with her whole heart, even if she is a bit impulsive. This one we see everything come full circle. Her relationships are strong, even if she is spiraling a bit.

One of my favorite things that she does is tick off Rage whenever she can. Calling him Angry Man to his face cracks me up. She gives zero effs. Not only do we see her relationships between her and her men strengthen, we see some of theirs get stronger as well.

This whole book has been about growth. Things get thrown at us in life and you have to roll with it and adapt. Even if Rory isn't ready for things, she definitely has an army behind her to help.

The end of this series brings me a bit of sadness. I will never experience any of the insane things that Rory does for the first time again. Although her story has come to an end, there are more coming from this world and I have never been more excited in my life. Now let me go ugly cry for the end of the Watch Me Burn series..

Ahhhh I can’t believe Rory’s story has come to an end. I had no idea what utter chaos our girl was going to get into in this book, but I don’t think I was prepared for it to end quite like this!

I absolutely LOVED this ending! Rory and ALL of her guys are finally in a place to think of their future. Rory’s strong stance to do what she wants is amazing. I love how she was willing to really give up her guys to stay strong to her decision, no matter how hard it would have been. Then when that bomb is dropped, she sees her young self and wants to change the outcome.

She became an amazing safe haven I wish we had more of in this world! I loved the laughs we got. The emotional craziness we got that we have never seen before with Rory and I absolutely adored the ending!

This might be the end of Rory’s story but I def don’t think it’s the end for The Donovan’s and I can’t wait to read more!!

*Overall 5/5
*Series Overall (Books 1-8) 4/5
*Heat? 5/5
*First person POV (all main characters)
*MMFMMMMMMM 🥵 Relationship
*Book includes MM
*Triggers? Yes-check book note
*HEA! YESSSSS! Loved this one so much!

I received an ARC of this book for my honest review and opinion. Thank you ♥️♥️

Perfect conclusion to the series

I could not wait to see how RE Bond was going to finally finish this series. I knew going in that the story was going to focus on Rory and the guys. Rory was not my favorite FMC in the series but I had seen her mature as the series continued so I definitely went in with an open mind. She is still not my favorite FMC, however, I adored her growth, her fire and how this book concluded her story. This did not affect my opinion of the book at all because it was so well written

I had no idea how the author was planning on making the changes within the story for this narrative and she completely nailed it. I loved how she told this story and the absolute best part is that she gave us the plans for her next series. I’m already invested in them and I don’t even think there is a release date yet.

I think what added to my enjoyment of this book is that there were more point of views from the guys telling the story. They have all grown as well during this series and I felt I was able to get to know them better than some of the previous books.

Overall this was just a great conclusion to the series and tease of what’s to come from this world. I cannot wait to see what happens with the next generation.

I was so excited to receive the arc of this book! RE Bond is one of my favorite authors and I’m obsessed with this series! I’m going to do my best to not give any spoilers away in this review!

Book has brings all of our favorite characters back from the first 7 books. Rory is struggling after everything that has happened to her in the previous books. She has the most growth in this book out of all the characters and I could be happier for her! Skeeter is still his psycho self and I love him…but Slash is still my favorite! Marco is just a big teddy bear and melts my heart!

As with the rest of this series, we see Rory and her guys pull together for their family and continue to help those in need. There is some action, secrets, resolution, heartbreak for certain situations happening and lots of spice…gotta be with 9 guys!

Even though I’m sad to say goodbye to Rory and her guys I am very please and satisfied with how the series ended. I can’t wait to see what RE Bond writes for us next!

Where do I begin, I just loved this book so much. The growth we see in Rory and her Nine is just beautiful. Seeing how in the beginning things were rough with her guys because she couldn't express how she was feeling. Going through what she did at the hands of her father made her who she is and made her stronger than she ever knew. Once they had a family meeting and discussed the situation (Nope you gotta read to know what that is) things got better. Slash and Rage developing a relationship made my heart so happy. After Slash finding out the truth in the last book it's nice to see the growth and understanding. There relationship may not be where it could be but it's a start.

Now onto the kids that Rory takes in. I mean she took that role on like a champ. Yeah things were rocky at the beginning, but they worked it out. The guys got to be the dad they wanted to be and the kids were able to have a real home. This book just made me want more of them really. Hint Hint RE I love you girl but I don't want this to end..

I read the entire series over the weekend. I was looking for a RH with darker themes for a palette cleanser. I figured I’d one and done the series but I was obsessed. Not only did I get RH, I got all on page smex, CSA, SA, bully, “crews”, m*rder, kidnapping, kinks, DV, dr*gs, partying, and a HEA. It was a wild ride and I loved it. I was a little frustrated with the fact Rory was super adamant about not wanting to birth kids but ended up doing it multiple times. I thought we’d see her giving the guys kids by rescuing them from the skin trade and it would be okay. I mean I love a good pregnancy trope but it just made me sad that she ended up birthing them when she was clear. I know the storyline went to her being okay and loving them. So that was great. But it’s okay to not birth children. Adoption, fostering, even just flat out not having any is just as viable! Anyways, loved this whole thing. Idk if I’ll read the next generation because I’d miss Skeet, Slash, and Rory being main but maybe?

Well, here it is. The stunning and epic concert to the Watch Me Burn series. It’s been absolutely amazing, watching Rory blossom throughout the series. But this book? This book right here solidifies everything about her being being a bad@$$ B. She embraces it by going down a new journey in her life with her guys and not compromising the true and gritty part of her identity. Book 8 shows the trials and tribulations of Rory’s everyday life. She was spiraling. Drugs, alcohol, fights. Her relationship with Skeeter was always going to be toxic but at this point, do you give up or fight to keep it alive? Watching their relationship specifically grow into the long-term relationship it is now has been nothing short of amusing, breathtaking, heartbreaking and also wonderful. RE Bond gave me all the feels with Sinners Reign. I laughed, I cried. I laughed until I cried.

Oh and that epilogue at the end? Ohhh I’m ready!
