Sometimes I get lucky finding a great menage. Here is one.

This is a HFN serial #1 book. Don’t expect a HEA stand alone as it ends with a cliffhanger.

Other than that I have no idea when book 2 will be published, which is annoying, everything else is great. Characters, plot, writing. I was sucked in immediately.

What works is that it is a long length book. We get to know the characters well. This is always something I am looking for.

Sex? Yes. A bit tame but it works with the story.

My hope is is a trilogy and not a endless serial with a two digits on and on and on. And second is I hope book #2 won’t be available too far away that I may forget the story.

Sci-fi menage lovers. This book is for you!

Love this introduction to the series!!! Bianca is on her way to join her very important twin brother to have a heart operation across the galaxy. Set in a different galaxy, she's an anomaly as most people are born without defects due to science fixing them in utero. She's only alive due to her brothers grace and political interference. Little did she know her entire world would change while on the comms with said brother. The space shuttle she's on suddenly crashes into an unknown place. Will anyone be able to find and rescue her? She awakens to an almost hellscape licked with flames. See how she survives, and lessons she learns in a new society. For the first time in her life she feels truly appreciated. Strong men and strange customs greet her. Join her adventure as it begins. Be warned, there is a cliff hanger. I loved this book because although she's medically weak, it centers around a brilliant and strong young lady. Its through this adventure that I think she realizes just how strong she actually is. I can't wait to see what's next in this series!!

This book was awesome. I don't normally read sci-fi but I may have to change my mine. Well I read anything involving Rebecca so yeah. Anyway Bianca hasn't led much if a life. Being the twin to the Senator helps but still not much when you are sick and need a new heart. That's where she was on a way to when the spaceship was shot down. She woke among the wreckage on fire. Luckily she's saved by Nox, who takes her to his colony. The she meets Torrin the King, Astor his twin and healer, and last Mattis, the bar owner. As she gets to know these strange people she makes some secret discoveries and she falls in love with them. Especially the four men who want to love and protect her also. They learn to love and fight the enemy together until Bianca realizes she is still sick and may not make it.
I loved this book and can't wait for the next one.
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. The review is of my own opinion.

I finally did it!

I've read my first reverse harem. And all it took was a pretty baller cover design, a science fiction setting and a stern talking to about how I promised myself I would read at least one before 2020 ends.

The world in this book is sort of a mix between dystopian and prehistoric in a way. Bianca is on a star ship headed to meet her brother on whatever planet he's on so that she can get open heart surgery. She was born with a defective heart and it's officially in the failing stage so the surgery is to replace her squishy tissue heart with a mechanical one. Before she makes it to the planet however, her transport crashes and she wakes up on fire in a desert, dusty setting. She's found by Nox and when he asks her about where she came from, he doesn't understand how any of it can be real.

Nox takes her to the City-State and introduces her to his people. Of those people, there's Torrin, Astor and Mattis. These 4 are like the government of the City-State and work together to make decisions that protect and care for the residents. Every season they go to war with the Reamers, which are like devolved human monsters to compete for the one plot of fertile land on the planet. With the introduction of Bianca, they are able to read some of the books they've found and gain more knowledge about their world but also the other planets out in the universe that they didn't know fully existed.

So I guess to start with the pros:

I like Bianca. She's pretty resilient. In fact, she's had to be because she's always been treated like she's broken. No man wanted to be with her and it's because she was born into royalty that she wasn't killed when she was born because defects are frowned upon in the harsh culture she lives in. Being around this brotherhood was really eye opening for her from the simplest things like touch. I liked that she was able to integrate herself in this new environment with ease. At first because she understood it was her best chance of staying alive but later she actually learned to love it there.

I liked the men. Torrin was the leader; strong and logical with that deep quiet air about him. He's a little barbaric at times but is very attentive when he needs to be. Astor was the resident nerd. He has a lab where he tinkers with things but he also has low self esteem issues that the guys as well as Bianca helped him to work through and really understand his worth. Nox is like a mix of both Astor and Torrin. He's quiet but he's super smart and great in a battle when called upon. And then Mattis is the jokester but also the warrior. He's good at strategizing and diffusing situations.

The cons:
It's a bit of instalust/love. Don't get me wrong, it was great to have steamy scenes in the book that were actually detailed and the love connections, while sweet, weren't 100% realistic for me because she's essentially an alien. I get she's trying to survive but she went from I want to live so I'll do what's necessary to I love my husbands and would do anything for them. Especially considering the cliffhanger ending and what did not happen between a couple of them. I also felt like there was a lot of tension because Bianca could only have one night with each man in a specific order and it felt like there was a lot of unspoken jealousy even though this is something they all agreed to do.

Overall, I think I'll read the sequel because I am definitely curious about what happens next but I don't think reverse harems are for me just yet.

Bianca was on her way to a new life. One with a new heart. But when her ship crashes on a primitive planet, she finds that she's never really lived at all. She's never felt more alive, more powerful than she does on this dusty planet full of savages and dangers. She's also more than she realized. Nox, Astor, Matttis, and Torrin realize immediately what Bianca has never known. She is an extraordinary woman. One who will change their lives and their world.

Science Fiction allows for a wide range of storytelling. This story takes full advantage of that. It's incredibly multi-layered. There's wonderful world-building of both worlds, complete with diverging histories, politics, full-bodied characters with ever-changing growth, and a love story. That's a lot to include without losing the entertainment value but it succeeds because first and foremost this is a Rebecca Royce adventure ride. It's one of those books that creeps up on you. You can read it cover to cover in one sitting because it's compelling but then after, you keep digesting the words. It gives you much to consider and wonder about. It ended in true RR fashion with the HEA cut short; you know you will get it eventually but there will be a painful, winding journey to get there. I look forward to Bianca dragging everyone along with her until she gets exactly what she wants and what both worlds need.

Lack of Depth

Great premise but lack of depth across the board (world building, character building, romance building). I felt like the beginning-middle part was just cut out, it was so abrupt from “I just met you” to “let’s get married and I really like you”

I tried this on a whim, it sounded interesting enough. However, I found the writing style and plot juvenile in the extreme. I was barely a few chapters in before my interest was lost completely. Not for me. 2 stars because someone else might like it.

I truly enjoyed this book. I didn't actually remember getting it, but I saw it on my kindle and jumped right in. I started it last night and finished this evening. There is enough information, that you could probably read it a couple times and still come out with new information. Bianca is, well I can't think of words to describe her. Her life sucks, it is one medical treatment after another because of her defective heart. She was only alive because of her brother's political station and clout her family had. She has nothing to look forward to, nothing to aspire to be in her society, so she just goes through the motions of life. That is until the spaceship she is on crash lands on a unknown planet. She begins to see everything she has been missing in life. She sees things differently, she has knowledge lost to the people there. She is seen as Someone Amazing, not a medical anomaly that shouldn't be alive. She finds people who care for her and about her, who treasure her. But everything can't stay perfect, somethings are inevitable.
**Warning** This is a major cliffhanger! I couldn't believe it stopped when it did. I wanted more, I need to know what else happens!

Uhhm, insta love anyone?
Her ship crashes on a primitive planet, turns out on the planet previously crashed several prison ships and the people kept fighting over resources.
She is hella easy to convince to "mate" with 4 guys and to have their numbers tattooed on her arm. She barely knows them but needs only to spend a few hours before starting to throw around I love you's.
The books had that juvenile feel and I'm so done with it.

Loved Bianca's story, great sifi, dystopian reverse harem

Bianca Curventes should have been killed at birth due to her heart defect. Her wealthy and politically powerful parents spared her. She has been in and out of medical facilities her entire 22 year. Her parents gone and under the care of her twin brother, she is on her way to a medical space station to under go a heart transplant.
Bianca ship crash lands on a remote planet out side Union space and her brothers control. She is rescued by Nox, a handsome warrior and taken to the City-State. He introduces her to Astor, twin to their leader, a scientist and healer, to care for her injuries. Together they take her to Torrin. Torrin has her marked as his for her protection. She meets Mattis, bar owner and tattoo artist, who places Torrin's mark.
Dreama, Torrin and Astor's big sister a warrior, warmly welcomes her.
The four new men in her life grew up together. They are best friends and like brothers. Soon she finds herself married to them all, and couldn't be happier. For the first time in her life she is making decisions for herself. While her men know about her heart, they don't hold her back.
Bianca experience love, acceptance, friendship, and war. When she has a serious attack, her men have to let her go to save her.
Bianca's twin has plans that will destroy her men and the whole town she has come to love. She is not going to let that happen without a fight.
Fast paced and steamy. Bianca is a strong woman. Her Torrin, a powerful leader who would die for his people. He is also kind with a good sense of humor. His brothers and sister and now Bianca keep him grounded. Nox, a knight like warrior. Who supports his best friends and protects his people any way he can. Astor, is quirky, smart, a healer, scientists, and care taker. Mattis, warrior and bar owner. He there for his family for whatever they need. Ends in a dreaded cliffhanger. Can't wait for the next book. finds herself married to them all, and couldn't be happier. For the first time in her life she is making decisions for herself. The Girl Who Fell From The Sky (Stranded Hearts Book 1) Kindle Edition

by Rebecca Royce (Author), Vivien Jackson (Author)

Thank you to authors for the complimentary copy. I am choosing to leave a fair and honest review.
Let me start out with stating this is not a stand-alone. This is a series. There is a big, scary cliff-hanger.
It starts out with a bang as our heroine, Bianca on the way to receive a medical procedure when her ship is destroyed. The next she knows, a man is standing above her as he pulls her out the crash. As the twin sister of the head of the Empire she expects a certain kind of behavior. Unfortunately, the planet she is on isn't part of the Empire and they have plans for her.
There is a rich vein of Regency Romance. In fact, there is a underlying comedy of manners combined with the irresistible fish out of water love story.
Bianca was a sweet girl who not only found the four men, Astor, Nox, Mattis and Torrin, that she comes to love. She has a heart defect that would normally have seen her euthanized by the sterile and rigid policies of the culture she lives in. Coming from a political family kept her alive but never really allowed to live. Everything changes for her.
The four warriors that she is bonded to are each unique type. Nox is the honorable soldier. Torrin is the weary leader, Mattis is a delightful rogue and Astor is the deep one who is also the healers. I was reminded of Vikings or Highlanders. They start out in little boxes but the two authors
Their planet has rigid gender roles. Women are to be protected and cherished. Men are to protect and love. The gender roles in the Empire are just as rigid, with marriages reverting to a transaction.
This was all addressed with care and with understanding.
The few love scenes (which is a good thing, because plot, character development and world-building is awesome in this book) are scorching. More importantly, they are kind of adorable.
This was a fun, funny and sexy book that deals with gender roles, history and military engagements – both Bianca's brother, Brent and those of her men.

When Nox finds Bianca after her spaceship crashes, he is caring and immediately treats her burns. He doesn't understand how her 'transport' got airborne to begin with and even more puzzling is she has no markings to show who she belongs to. He knows he has to bring her to Torin, but he's going to make a stop first.

Bianca slowly comes to realize this is not a planet known to the Union she is from. They don't know of her brother Brent or any other planets for that matter. The second person she meets is Astor, he's a bit different from the other males in the City-State. He's more intuitive, and he is the one who created the salve that Nox used on her burns.

While Astor and Nox try to figure out the circumstances of Bianca's arrival and what the Reamers might have taken from the wreckage another friend arrives. Mattis owns the City-State's bar located not far from Astor's and he is looking for Nox. He'd heard about the Reamer presence at the potential battle site and was concerned.

Between Bianca's lack of identifying brands and her strange looking holo-watch there is no doubt they have to go to Torin for him to ultimately decide how to handle her sudden appearance. Torin's response, Astor's claim as well as Nox's and Mattis' all twist into a tale that is both spell binding and for Bianca almost life changing.

This book just grabs hold and doesn't let go! Bianca's adjustment to being in such a primitive environment, the love that evolves for these men, and the sister relationship she begins to develop with Dreama is artfully woven. Even her discovery of their society's origin is a surprise and the ending wants me to beg for the next one sooner rather than later.

Bianca has spent her whole life feeling like she didn't fit in. She was a burden. If it wasn't for who she was, she wouldn't even be alive. All of that changes when she finds herself crashed on a strange planet. It may be completely different from anything she's known and she may not understand why things are the way they are, but she's never felt more at home. Unfortunately for her, without the surgery she was in route to have before her crash, she may not live to experience it all.

I really, really enjoyed this book. The world building was phenomenal while keeping the story going at a good pace. The characters were engaging. The storyline was intriguing and kept my interest with no problem, which has been hard to do lately. The guys are all interesting and while they have been lifelong friends, they are all unique. They have their own stories to tell and I'm loving getting to know them.

Now of course we don't get to have a happy ending in the first book of a new series. We are left on a dramatic cliffhanger. Like Oh hell no they did NOT just leave us here. But they did. And I can't wait to get the next book in my hands so we can see what happens next. Fantastic new sci fi series by these ladies.

The Girl Who Fell From The Sky, TGWFFTS, was a fantastic story. It’s the first in a new series and is a PNR and Reverse Harem, RH. This is the first time that I have read a book from Viven Jackson and Rebecca Royce, authors, and it will not be the last. I loved the way Viven and Rebecca set up the story. My attention was captured from the first page to the last and I could not put it down. Viven and Rebecca created characters that was easy to relate to and fall in love with. I have to admit that I love how they came up with the premise of the howlers and how they use them to carry messages. Anyway, TGWFFTS had twist, turns, surprises, and things going sideways. There is a lot I started to write and had to delete so as not to write any spoilers. I really don’t want anyone to feel cheated out of reading it for themselves. Just know that this book not only is hot and steamy but will surprise you, will have your emotions in a whirlwind, and your mind spinning with ideas and what if’s and other questions. The only thing I didn’t like was the ending. But knowing it is not really the end as it is the first book in a series I won’t complain too much 😂🤣. I highly recommend this book especially if you love PNR and new worlds to read about. Enjoy reading The Girl Who Fell From The Sky!!

Bianca is on a journey of her lifetime, but it is not where Bianca thought she would be going. When her ship crashes on a planet that is not part of Empire that she comes from Bianca’s world changes. Bianca finds four men that will not only protect her but also love her. Can Bianca truly find love on this planet with these men?

This was an interesting story. Bianca and her men are good characters that are well developed. The world that Bianca comes from is far different than the one she finds herself in now. I enjoyed seeing Bianca find her way with the help of these men. Each man is different but together they make a whole and the feelings that they have for Bianca shows through in all that they do. Bianca learns how to not only adapt to her new world but also to live and thrive with the help of her men. Their story is a great introduction to this series, and I am eager to see just what happens next for them.

This deserves 1 star for many things:

*the cliffhanger

*Astor not moving sorcha's hand at the end there (I don't care what his mindset is, you just know she's gonna take that&run with it)

*the way in which everything was solved easily (rescues, near deaths etc.)

*that there's no way book 2 is ever coming out (why couldn't there be a ---> this book is discontinued-- warning at the bottom)

But all that being said, this is exactly the kind of book I needed to read at the exact right time.

So much so, I had all those little nit picks&still had a great time reading it.

I would give it 5 stars TBH if I knew there was a possibility book 2 would come out..
E V E R

...in my lifetime ..

but I just have this gut feeling this series is deader than dead, before it even began, so I'll pretend this is a standalone... with a rushed half hearted ending&leave it behind in peace 😢

*Received an ARC of this book*

Wow! This story is so intense and fast paced. I loved the concept and the characters. I think the relationship development happened quickly, but also organically. The personality and past of the FMC made it believable. I think a different character type might not have been able to adapt and adjust under the circumstances (trying not to give out spoilers). The world-building is good and I found the plot to be engaging and interesting all the way through, I didn’t want to put it down.

I sorta had a feeling where the story was going to end and I ended up being right about the cliff-hanger (and it’s a pretty painful cliffie you guys) but I’m really glad I read it. I trust these authors to give us a HEA and really can’t wait for the next book in this series.

I have to say after reading this first book, I am very excited to read more from this new series. This book has a very innovative plot and characters you just can’t help but fall in love with, not to mention wonderful world building. I was hooked on this series within a few pages of reading this book. There was the overarching mystery of how this civilization came to be, the dynamics and relationships between the men, and most importantly the love that develops between Bianca and these wonderfully loving men. Theirs is a very savage and violent world but with Darcy, they seem to have infinite love, sensitivity, and understanding. I really can’t recommend this book highly enough and I cannot wait to read more in the series.

* I was given an ARC of this book and voluntarily chose to review. All of my opinions are honest and entirely my own.

Beautiful story about a broken woman with a bad heart learning to live and love

This really is a lovely story, about Bianca who has a very bad heart, who lives in a very controlled, extra religious society and has learnt to obey her controlling twin brother who is the leader of the government of a huge number of planets. Bianca is on her way to get a new heart when her ship crashes on a rustic, backward planet filled with savages. There she is rescued and taken to live with one faction of people and she falls for the leader and his band of 3 brothers, where she learns to truly live, and love, for the first time in her life. This is the first book - it ends on a bit of a cliffy, and I look forward to the next installation very much. It is very well written, descriptive and imaginative.

The Girl Who Fell From The Sky by Rebecca Royce and Vivien Jackson is the first book in The Stranded Hearts series. It's a sci-fi RH romance book.

This book was a fast read, and I finished it in one sitting.

There were many plot twists and much action. I couldn't put this book down once I started.

This book was amazing! Loved the plot and it was very well written.
Loved the characters and how they grew in the book. They were all different, and not what they first seemed to be. Loved the men and I hope they all get their happy ending.

The cliffhanger at the end almost destroyed me, and I can't wait to read more. I need the second book now, as I want to know what's going to happen.

Awesome start to a new sci-fi series.

I received a free ARC copy of this book, and I am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions are my own.

I found this story really interesting. The world was rich and interesting. The characters were nice. Bianca has a heart condition, and on route to another planet for a transplant, her ship crashes and she is found, and meets 4 guys. Their technology is old and their culture is a bit different. But then so is the culture where she comes from, so your kind of learning about 2 cultures while raising one eyebrow.
I can’t quite pin what it was. I had this feeling of expectation throughout most the book. Not like I was “waiting for the other shoe to drop”. More like, “there’s more going on here than what we’re seeing right now”.
It was a little insta-lovey, but not in a way that made me want to roll my eyes. It kind of blended in with the pace of the story really.
It was interesting. I want to know what happens next. There’s a bit of a cliffhanger ending there, so I’m definitely curious. I’m hovering around 3.5-4 stars.

I recieved an complimentary copy of this book and decided to leave my fair and honest opinion about it.
I am always reserved with the first book of any new series but i have to admit that this one blew me away!
I really loved the world building and i really loved the characters!
Well written with depth and the story was captivating!
I loved the post apocalyptic vibe in the story.
Also there are a few hot scenes that are hot but in general this book is a slow burn and focuses more in the characters and the world building and the politics of the clans .
The book was fun with funny and moments and of course sexy scenes but it mainly deals with gender roles ,history and military.
As expected as its the first book in a series it leaves us hanging and with a book hangover!
A really great job and i truly can't wait for the next book!

The Girl Who Fell From the Sky is a wonderful tale of love in the stars and yet in a world that is not technologically forward. Bianca finds herself on a world that has escaped the system that she knows. Things and the people are a little different. They have a way of life that Bianca has to adjust to. Nox, Torrin, Mattis, Astor all take an interest in Bianca. Together they form a strong team to protect their people. The way of life and who they used to be was really interesting world building. The relationship between them was intriguing to read.

I screamed at the end that the book couldn’t end yet. My only faith is knowing from previous Rebecca Royce stories, is that it’s not over for Bianca and her men.

Love it...need book 2

This book was such a good read. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

Bianca is on her way to get her life saving surgery so she can be 'normal'. However that doesn't happen as she crash lands on a plant that is not as far advanced as her home. She now has to navigate the war that she fell into, the people who want to mark her and those who might just eat her if they get their hands on her.

I absolutely loved all the characters in this book. The men of the city-state Nox, Astor, Matttis, and Torrin may have a weird little family going on but you could always tell they love each other. Bianca really showed who she was in this book and changed so much from the beginning. Can't wait to see what happens next.

This reverse harem story had me hooked after the first chapter.

When Bianca crashes on her way to get a new heart she lands on their backwards planet and finds herself taken, branded and a wife to four sexy and uniquely different men.

Her men are Torrin who is the king of City-State, Nox the healer, Mattis the bar owner and Astor the nerd. When you throw them all together you have one sexy, hot combo!

I loved how you got to learn about each character and how each interact with Bianca. They all left me smiling.

The last chapter had me hoping it would never end, but unfortunately like all great series it ends in a cliffhanger

I’m so looking forward to the next book in this series. Hopefully soon?

Fantastic beginning to a new series!

This is one new Sci-fi series that will keep you highly entertained right from the very beginning straight to that completely and utterly shocking cliffhanger of an ending. You will be completely hooked!

Bianca’s story is thrilling, intense, funny and will have you falling in love with her. At times her story is heartbreaking and tragic but other times is filled with passion and love.

The world building and characters are all phenomenal and keep you fully engaged with the story.

This story is so worth reading even if you hate cliffhangers. I can’t wait to read the next one!

Great SyFy RH

I was so excited to read this new book by Rebecca Royce! It is so hard to find a really good RH book about aliens that’s well written. The FMC Bianca hasn’t had the easiest life but she has a warrior spirit. I really enjoyed her finding her guys and how they treated her like she was strong but precious to them. The aliens in this story are unique but not overly outlandish. Reading this story almost feels like this could truly happen in the future. The writing and details make it feel so realistic. I’m in love with this group and can’t wait to see where book two goes.

I enjoyed this first book in this new series. I really enjoy reverse harems so this worked well for me.

Bianca is a really interesting character. She really grows in strength as the story continues. She is so unsure of herself and what she is capable of doing. She was raised to believe her health issues made her inferior to others.

I liked the other characters as well. The male characters are just as developed as Bianca which isn't always the case in romance harems. I feel like the authors did a good job of developing the characters and the relationships. I really look forward to learning more about them as the series continue.

Amazing story of a world away!

This was an extremely intriguing read! I can’t imagine how hard it is to write a story about a post-apocalyptic/alien world, but these ladies managed to write an amazing story. Bianca immediately is an attention grabber, with the story about her heart. When the authors described the crash, I was captivated, I couldn’t put this story down. Then, the new world. Descriptions about the settlers, and the struggles. The various challenges she goes through, to learn life on this new world, all for it to close out like it did?! (Cliffhanger alert) I cannot wait for the next book, it’s going on my countdown list!
