From purest pain comes sweetest vengeance.

The city of Coldlake, where everything appears bright and sunny but beneath the surface is blood and darkness. A city where killers hide in plain sight and the ones you trust can turn on you in a heartbeat.

My heart has endured pain, but in the arms of the Coldlake Syndicate, I’ve known only sweetness. Their kisses are my joy and their love is my salvation. When their pasts collide with our present, nothing will ever be the same.

My four men have suffered at the hands of an unknown killer, and I’ll do whatever it takes to heal their broken hearts. I see him, and he will tremble at my coming.

Vengeance will be mine.

Author’s Third Comes Vengeance is the final book in the Promised in Blood series. These books contain dark themes, violence, and a Why Choose romance with ruthlessly possessive men. The story is dark, dirty, and delicious, so please read at your discretion.

***COMING THIS WEEK***

4 STARS / 4.5 for the complete trilogy

I absolutely love this Harem. This has been my second RH mafia book, and I think Lilith Vincent has set the bar high for me. I absolutely loved each of these men, although Lorenzo was my absolute favorite.

What I loved:
1. Chiara really came into her own in this book. She was the one calling the shots, unless they were in the bedroom. She blossomed into a women who knew what she wanted. She saves them just as they save her.
2. These men. They each offer her something different. They appeal to her different parts, all fulfilling her needs and wants, and she does the same for them in return.
3. Lorenzo. He makes the book for me. I love the other three, but he is chef’s kiss.
4. I really loved the BOK storyline and how that all played out.
5. The steam between the group and even the individuals and pairings was so good.
6. Spoiler so I can’t say what it was but I loved seeing these four men compete and the outcome.
7. That ending with the extra scene with all them. Amazing and provided so much peace for even the readers and not just the characters.

What I needed more of:
1. There were a few places where the dialogue felt off to me or where I felt like I was being told something vs. seeing it or feeling it, which I don’t recall happening in books 1 & 2. It wasn’t much in this book but enough to pull me out of the story at times.
2. For the third book being about revenge and vengeance and who is the BOK serial unaliver, it strangely lacked a lot of suspense. It was there in spurts but then quickly died out.

I absolutely LOVE this series and these characters (secondary and main). I’ll be eagerly awaiting the next standalone RH mafia from Lilith Vincent.

Genre: Reverse Harem Romance
Type: Book 3 of 3 from Promised in Blood series
POV: First Person - Multiple
Rating:
3.75 Stars

Since the men of Coldlake Syndicate came into her life, Chiara Romano’s rose-tinted life had been shattered exponentially. But vengeance had a way to blind even the most vigilant and strike back when they least expected.

This trilogy had been a wild and sexy ride. I expected this one to be messy with a copious amount of fluid, and boy did it deliver. One thing though, I did not expect the plot to shift in the direction it did. It just felt off to me because it was more of the author’s other pen name branding, which I didn’t think fit the darker tone of this series.

“We’re going to nut in you at the same time, bambina. I hope you like it messy.”

Of course, I loved the men and enjoyed seeing how the characters deal with the situations. And I particularly feel for one character in the bonus content.

Third Comes Vengeance is the conclusion of Promised in Blood trilogy. The series would appeal to readers who enjoy an Italian Mafia reverse harem romance.

Sadly not as good as the second book, but definitely better than the first.

My main reason for 3 instead of 4 is the author sticking the MM parts in a “bonus chapter” in the end. It’s such a cop out, if you didn’t read the bonus chapter in the end of book two and three, you wouldn’t know two of the guys were together sexually. It is not mentioned AT ALL in the actual book, they do not interact in any way whatsoever that would indicate they are together. If you’re going to have them be together, put it in the actual book, don’t hide it. Before the bonus chapter the author says the two guys who are together are in love! Funny how she had to tell us that because there is no any indication whatsoever throughout the book. If they’re in love, why don’t they live together? Why do they not kiss? Why IS IT LEFT OUT OF THE BOOK??? It really upsets me that the author did that. It’s feels like a dirty secret that’s being hidden, and I don’t like that. It would’ve added so much to the story to actually be included in the actual book.

Also Lorenzo never tells her he loves her. Yeah we’re supposed to get that he does he just can’t say it, but I don’t like that. This is a romance book, give me romance. It especially irks me because Lorenzo was my favorite. It could’ve been any of the other guys who didn’t say it and i wouldn’t have cared as much, but still.

To add to my list of gripes, they don’t all live together, even at the end they all live in separate houses and she just bounces around with the baby.
And I found it weird that she keep her last name and is giving her child that last name. Knowing that it’s the last name of the man who did horrible things? Keeping that and passing it on seemed weird.

There’s tears, genuine tears.
I can’t believe this is the end of Chiara and guys’ story.
This series is my fave of the year by far!!!

This book tho🤩🤩🤩
The doctor chapter was hot af like I’ve fucking loved it, I’ve never read a doctor roleplay in a book before and that lived up to the expectations😮‍💨🔥 and that bonus chap at the end, this author has killed me with all the spice!!

I don’t want to give away spoilers but for those who have read it already HOW FRICKIN CUTE WAS THE LAST FEW SCENES AND THE WAY THE GUYS WERE SUPER PROTECTIVE OF CHIARA!!!!
I’m so so so happy that the sisters and her mum have got the justice they deserved and that the boys have finally got peace🥺

The emotions I felt in this series was insane. I was laughing, crying, panting, shocked, angry and panting again🥵

I will defo be rereading in the future as this series has me in a fucking chokehold😩😩 I’ll miss the characters so much! If you haven’t read this series, please give it a read.

In this final volume of the Promised in Blood trilogy, Chiara Romano is under the protection of the Coldlake Syndicate, but she also wants vengeance for the pain her four men have endured by the hands of the Black Orchid Killer.

“Kitten, do I have to explain what cream pie is?” “I can guess from context. Lorenzo, you’re so romantic.” “I’m so fucking romantic, he agrees.”

Narrated in multiple POV, this storyline builds on the relationship Chiara shares with Lorenzo, Salvatore, Cassius and Vinicius. Together they are steamy hot and Chiara is never left unfilled.

Though there was a new plot aspect that wasn’t necessarily my cuppa, it led to some interesting dynamics and didn’t deter from my overall enjoyment of this story. Oh, and the bonus content was the ultimate finale.

Third Comes Vengeance is about fighting for those you love. This book would appeal to those looking for dark and delicious reverse harem theme.

Overall really enjoyed this series. A yummy harem, A LOT of spice, amazing OTT protective heroes, and a heroine that comes into her own. The mafia and mystery played nicely overall.

What I loved the most about the finale was how we see these characters solidifying as a team, individual relationships and the harem. I also loved Chiara's evolution. She went from an 18-old innocent princess with a bit of a bratty streak to being a fierce woman capable of being with all these men AND to stand up to her enemies. And each man has their own value add to her, each brings something new to the table. Personally I'm a Cassius girl- I love our big, burly giant d'ed Italian who protects hard and loves harder. But truthfully each are part of her journey, each supporting her in a unique way. Plus, I love how breeding happy the kinks got in this book. That competition- I can't even with this alphas. And certainly Lilith knows how to deliver the STEAM. I don't know how she kept one-upping herself with every seen in the whole trilogy, but the spice got better and better, and it was delicious.

I was a bit disappointed in a few things. Firstly, the pace in this finale is really slow and the suspense/action pretty slight. It was a lot of sitting around and waiting, a lot of casual run ins with danger that didnt' translate to any actual danger, and the overall finale while entertaining felt a bit anticlimactic when all was said and done. But, the killer twist certainly worked (though hard to not see coming, we have so few secondary characters that there were little suspects) but how it all played out was a great dynamic.

WHen it is all said and I done,I also felt like two guys really outshone the other. Cassius and Lorenzo had more clear personalities, more authentic chemistry with our heroine, and more meaningful emotional growth and moments throughout the story. At times the others felt like secondary harem, less memorable and less developed. I did love the harem as a whole though, and the two more central guys are my favs and super delicious, but I did feel at the end that two guys didn't quite have the same "moments" that the other two did.

All in all, a fun and super sexy trilogy and a great overall read.

Goddamn. This series was so fucking good.
I was completely hooked from the start, and it did not let up the entire time. I read the whole series in one long ass sitting. It’s almost 2pm and I haven’t slept even a little bit, too busy devouring the words on the pages of these books.
I couldn’t stop myself. There was a mystery to solve, vengeance to be had, a hard earned HEA to finally find.
This series was dark, there’s a murderer who does atrocious things to the four men’s sisters in the past and we get descriptions throughout, of the way they were found and hints at the horrendous things that one of them was forced to watch so they didn’t miss any clues as to who or why it happened. Plus, of course, there was the everyday violence of mafia men.

I had so many theories throughout this about who the murderer was and why the did it, and I was still surprised to be partially right and then somewhat blindsided by who it ended up being.

I just absolutely loved every word in these books.
They were harsh, and violent, and torturous, and completely beautiful and wonderful.

It had everything I wanted.
A crazy plot, psychotic badass characters I really loved, fantastic sex with praise and degradation and some blood play and basically all the dirty things you could want, and the relationships were so deep and loving when they were finally cultivated. I loved how everyone grew and lifted each other up throughout the book.

I’m just so pleased with the ending and the beginning everything in between.
So glad TikTok recommended this series to me.
It was a big fucking win.
I literally could not put the fucking book down.
100% I’ll be looking into what else this author has out. Id they’re anything like this series I know I’m gonna fucking love them.

The finale book and we are going out with a bang!!! We pick up right were book 2 leaves off and it's already drama!! We think there's a betrayal which kinda is but isn't lol. but we meet some characters that shall get their own books later later so keep those men on your mind ;).

The ups and downs and trying to find who is The Black Orchid Killer was hard on all of them since most of the plans didn't go through. But the group didn't let that get them down oh no between that and trying to get their woman Prego was CLASSIC!!! Doctor play ;) and well a train ride was pretty fun ;). All 4 men were giving Chiara some Christmas snow in her vagina 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Girl was getting railed lot I was kinda jealous of her.

You try not to pick your fave guy but I gotta say hands down you pick but I love each guy they brought so much to the Story and they were all amazing!!!

No ow/om drama, no cheating, slight secondary charas, drama, sexy times, no virgins

*POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD*
Lemme summarise this book real quick for y'all:

Lorenzo, Cassius, Vinicius and Salvatore all of a sudden: LET'S GET CHIARA PREGNANT
*proceed to hump her 24/7 and "nut" inside of her*
*she becomes pregnant*
The MMCs: Woman pregnant, we happy😀
Also them: Oh but wait what about the serial killer that we've been trying to hunt down for the past 9 years? Whoops, we totally forgot about him while railing our woman throughout the whole book hehe🤪
*they find the serial killer*
Salvatore: STAB STAB STAB DIE YOU FUCKER
*and he's dead*
*mimicking a narrator's voice*: Aaaandd everybody lived happily ever after. THE END.

What the actual fuck???? This book was such a hot mess y'all I -
In short, I've read almost 400 pages about these 4 men and their breeding kink while they suddenly find the man who's brutally killed their sisters and sabotage the mayor who apparently was an accomplice. What the shit? I just...I just can't y'all omfg. What a fucking shitshow. I'm outta here CIAO✌🏻

The books didn't get any better. I'm not even going to write a full review. By now you know the characters and the plot.

This one focuses on getting Chiara knocked up. Salvatore, Vinicius, Cassius, and Lorenzo all want to be daddies. There's a TON of sex in this one.

Chiara continues to be annoying. The Black Orchid killer is finally discovered, though that story really took a backseat to the baby making portion of things.

I'm not a fan of this series. The end.

This series was absolutely flipping incredible!!!
I didn’t want it to end 😭
I’m honestly speechless, the plot twists were flipping wild, they gave me goosebumps and I was literally shaking.
out of my suspect list I can’t believe that piece of shite was the killer!!!! absolutely SHOCKING. they deserve to rot in hell.
I’m so happy that Chiara stood up towards her dad and got revenge for the shite he did. She has grown to become so strong and brave since book 1, she is a queen with her four kings by her side. I loved the character growth of the men, finally seeing/learning every part of them. They’re really all big softies on the inside.
I’m in love with all of them especially Lorenzo, he’s the loml.
I’m beyond happy that they finally found peace with what happened to their sisters, they can finally rest in peace now the killer has been found.
That extra chapter was spicy af but also had me sobbing, that ending was everything I wanted and needed.
I miss them all already 😭

"Baby, you're ass up in red heels over the hood of a Lamborghini. You think I'm missing this opportunity? Now hold still while I knock you up."

I don't think I ever will shut up how much I love this book, I love this series, the characters, the stories everything!
It was everything I want out of a mafia reverse harem read.

It has everything from character and plotline development, humour, sarcasm, mystery, thriller, crime, action pack, friendship and LOVE!
The third book got me laughing so much.
I need to be in their group chat.
All the babymaking was so funny.

We see a different side to every character.
Their feelings, emotions, thoughts, relationship, their past and getting revenge and redemption.
Chiara was such a badass in this one, I am so proud of her.
The crime mystery was so brilliantly written and I enjoyed that it came full circle.
Lorenzo was definitely the funniest and cutest in this one for sure.
Lilith Vincent writing was just so simple, easy, addictive and so bloody good.
I want more of her work and I want the books thicker, please! I don't think I had enough of them all!

ya know, i had to read this one to finish the series. i needed to know who the black orchid killer was, what happened with chiara’s father, and ya know all the other stuff. but…this book had it, the one trope that i literally cannot stand. the pregnancy trope. it started out fine as a breeding kink of the guys - wanting to get chiara (again how tf do you say this chi-ara?? key-ara??? someone help) pregnant but then she actually did and i was like *eye roll* *eye roll* *eye roll*

this book wrapped up the series and answered my questions but i don’t think it was worth it lol.

Lorenzo was the MVP 🥵 these scenes were something else. Doctor will live rent free in my little brain

This is book 3. The final book to the series. It follows the Princess of ColdLake. Let me tell you this girl has grew! She isn’t one to mess with as you will see the book. I would recommend reading the first two books prior to the third so you understand what’s going on and besides those spicy scenes were amazing!

Vengeance is well earned through out. I wasn’t expecting the ending.

Trilogies are tricky. They usually lose some of the grit amd thrill I usually love in the first books.
That's what happened there. Oh, Third Comes Vengeance was extremely sexy. Ultra hot. I smiled very often at the priceless group chats, I fanned myself when the intensity reached new highs.
The heroine found her place, embrassed it, she finally spread her wings, I can only praise that element.
Now, her pregnancy, although fun, due to the men's reactions, didn't pique my interest. That's not a trope I exactly enjoy, even less when it takes such a big part of the storyline.
That being said, I absolutely love Lilith Vincent's writing and I will definitely read her other books.
All in all, I am giving 4 stars to the author's first series under this pen name. If this conclusion wasn't as exciting as the breathtaking first two opuses, I still highly recommend this dark reverse harem series. Happy reading!!!

Holy! Wow! Oh wow! Ok! Get it together.

Everything, that’s what this book was, everything all wrapped up in a shiny bow and hand delivered to us by literary genius Lilith Vincent! This is the third and final book in the promised in blood series. Every question we had was answered. We watch Chiara and the guys grow closer and closer together. Lorenzo has yet another spurt of character growth. This book was a roller coaster! Just when I thought we were gunna coast on to the happy ending BAM loopty loop. But that’s why this series and this author are on the tippy top of my favorites list. Spice? All I’m gunna say is group scenes galore ohhh and a new role play kink unlocked for 2 of our favorite characters.

Have I convinced you to read it yet? Ok, but wait there’s more!!!

Then we were given answers to questions we didn’t know we had and we’re graced with a bonus scene, an extended epilogue of sorts. Filled with all of the M/M, group scene, and HEA things that our hearts needed.

If you haven’t started this series yet go, now GO! Start with First Comes Blood book 1.

If you have read the first two books stash this on the MUST READ shelf and get to it!

Third Comes Vengeance by Lilith Vincent is a mafia reverse harem romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Maeve York and Walker Williams. This is the third and final book in the Promised in Blood series.

Lilith did a great job wrapping up the series. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Chiara, Salvatore, Vinicius, Cassius, and Lorenzo. I loved that we got all of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Walker and Maeve did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this series if you like dark romances, mafia romances, reverse harem romances, or romantic suspense.

And just like that… the series is over🥺
WHAT am I supposed to do now?!? 😳

This book was the perfect last piece to this magnificent puzzle. The ending, the storyline, the sub plot, the ENDING. (did i mention the ending?) The character development with Chiara is astounding, and we really see her bloom over all the crazy things she has been through. SHE IS A BAD ASS if I do say so myself, and I know her momma is proud. UGH Just PERFECTION! I was so beyond happy to receive the ARC for this book, and I cant wait to get my hands on the hard copy soon. 😍 This book is set to be released Dec 8! If you have not gone out and check out please do. She deserves all the love, and much more. 🥰

Once again thank you Lilith for this masterpiece, and for sharing your boys with us. ♥️

Chiara,Salvatore, Vinicius, Lorenzo and Cassius will always be in my heart. 💜

🤞🏽I hope one day we see them again! (AKA LASHER NEEDS A BOOK I SAID IT ) 👀🥵

Quote(s): “Baby, you’re ass-up in red heels over the hood of a Lamborghini. You think I’m missing this opportunity? Now hold still while I knock you up.” “Aren’t you good for me, princess? I get to make you bleed and knock you up at the same time. How does a devil like me get into heaven?” "If you thought we were competitive before, you're about to find out just how fiercely we compete."

The final Promised in Blood book and it did not disappoint. The vengeance Chiara feels for her men against the Black Orchid Killer comes to a close and they are a stronger family unit for it. Once more, all the characters show growth and development. Chiara becomes a stronger woman who now knows exactly what she wants and doesn't back down from getting it. She is braver and less naïve and will do anything to protect those she loves. She's a far more enjoyable character to read than the silly school girl she appeared to be in the first.

Again, we are shown a softer side to each of the protective, obsessive (slightly crazy) mafia men. The way they each tried to protect their sisters and now fiercely protect Chiara is great. It makes their connection more believable and their scenes more spicy (if that's possible). The friendly competition they have between themselves is such an immature thing that just brings out their playful side and lightens the tension left after they share what happened to their sisters.

I will definitely buy the physical copies of these book as I will absolutely read them again in the future. I would also recommend these books to others, just read the trigger warnings before you do.

Chiara really came into herself in this book which I loved. She truly stepped into her role as mafia queen within her harem and it was awesome to read.

The guys… amazing and protective as always and I was here for it. The spice was off the charts and don’t even get me started on the breeding kink in this book! 🥵

I did feel like the big reveal and suspense was a little anticlimactic. This book is intended to focus on revenge and with who these guys are, I expected more suspense and twists than we got.

Overall it was a good ending and I loved the epilogue. 🥰

These books were such a clusterfuck. I love a good RH as much as the next gal but the author couldn't decide the dynamic between these idiots and it showed. Also a bunch of dudes waiting for a 17 year old to come of age to bang her isn't romantic. it's creep city and I want to send them all to jail.
