Court Legacy #3

Tiny Dark Deeds

Rate this book
Stolen.
Missing.
Erased.

I’m a headline in the town of Maywood Heights and known by a name I’ve never heard. They tell me I was taken, stolen, but none of this makes sense. I’m not who they say I am. I’m not a… twin, but even those close to me seem to believe the rumors swarming around me.

Tiny.
Dark.
Deeds.

With my universe suddenly imploding, I find myself at the center of a history with more darkness than could ever be imagined. My entire existence has been a lie, and those I should be able to trust hold just as many secrets as the ones who destroyed my entire world. Dorian Prinze isn’t who he said he was. He’s a liar, and I find myself in a town of the same. Maywood Heights appears to be the city of the damned, and if I’m not careful…

It might just claim me as its next victim.

Warning: Tiny Dark Deeds is a dark high school romance that contains dubious content and situations some may find triggering. It's recommended for readers 18+ and is the third book in an all new series by Eden O'Neill titled Court Legacy. Tiny Dark Deeds is not a standalone and is the final book in Noa and Dorian’s story.

I would give it a 0, but that's not possible. So I give it 1 star.
I read all 3 of the Court Legacy books. I did enjoyed the first one and the only reason I continued was the cliffhanger ending. I do regret this now with each book the story got worse.
I really don't understand all of those positive reviews. The story was super long and the when the final showdown came, it was handled in a few pages. Which really was unsatisfying.
There were a few side elements, a chance for a story for other characters. But these were also handled in one or two chapters.
The characters are making the same mistake over and over again. I don't know how often Noa and Dorian felt like the trust was gone. To say it in their owe words this "love" story is fuck up and just toxic AF. They have absolutely no chemistry, except for carnal lust.
I will not read another book of this author. It felt like every important information is mentioned over and over and over again. Like Dorian mentioning in every thought that this person is his god dad or he is his mothers best friend.
All in all the book was to long and the story could have been told in half of the pages.

2.5 stars rounded to 3...

I received an ARC for this book and was so excited for the conclusion of Dorian and Sloane's story. I read for long stretches and was able to finish this book in one sitting.

First off, there was plenty of "telling." When that happens and I get a big fat fog of white-room syndrome, I know I'm almost about to DNF. The very "telly" nature of this book was rife throughout, and I was bored by the 5th chapter. However, I powered through it because I love this author. She gave me Jax and Cleo, so that's that.

Anyway, I'm going to outline a few things that made me want to punch the current electronic device I used to read this book...

1) Besides the very "telly" narrative, there were extra storylines/sub-plots running through this book that was unnecessary. All the legacy kids are getting their own books, so why did I have to read about all this extra shit? Why did I need Royal's POV? The whole thing with Bow going all crazy on Wells—a random subplot about some rapey teacher prowling on high school girls, like why? What did that serve? It did NOTHING for this story.

2) Yeah, I had trouble separating Dorian's inner monologue "voice" from Sloane's. They sounded VERY similar. It was like I was reading words from the same character. Sloane basically just sounded and talked like a dude. There were instances of recap, it would have been better if the whole story was just done from one POV if that's the case. Would have saved the word count. Seriously, what Sloane said in her inner monologue, Dorian repeated in his.

3) Nope. You'll never convince me that 18-year-olds talk like this. Some of the dialogue didn't even flow and sounded so unnatural that some of the words/phrases are not even what REAL people even say in everyday conversations.

4) Thatcher and Wells' weird bro-ship. Yeah, many of my friends are guys and they don't act this touchy-feely and are ridiculously close like these two. Their repeated interactions throughout the story almost had me entirely convinced that these two were f&ck!ng on the low or in a closet relationship. So, when there was mention of Thatcher sleeping with other girls, I was like, nope, he's down-low. Nothing wrong with that, but still—weird dynamic. Wouldn't be surprised if that ends up being a sub-plot for the other legacy books. Poor Bow.

5) Repetition: I was beat over the head about "my god dad, Ramses," "my god dad, LJ," "my god dads." I get it. Every Court father is your damn god dad. I think Authors tend to forget that their readers are not dumb and don't need to always be reminded about who's who. Who's your twin, or who's your daddy. I get it, move along.

6) Sloane doesn't become "Pilar." I didn't like that at all. That was what her parents named her and what Ares had longed for his entire life. His Pilar. But she ultimately ends up adopting that "yo, bro" name, Noa Sloane-Mallick, as her actual name. FML.

7) The awkward sentences: This is practically an ongoing thing that I've noticed. Maybe because it's a style that the author wants to keep to separate herself from other authors. The sentences were so weird and jarring, it almost took me out of the story numerous times. Here are few examples:

.."The dark prince slept with a shotgun in his lap. But he slept. He hadn't asked to sleep with me, beside me, but I didn't think he would even if he asked me."

"What I was doing was toxic shit right now, avoiding, but I didn't care."

"Coming away, the man folded a hand behind Dorian's neck."

Yo, Eden, if you need an editor, let me know. I'll do that shit for free.

8) Though I love the Legacy kids, I still find Dorian and Sloane's relationship surface-level with very little depth to it. It might just be me. Though, somewhat likeable characters, I'm usually always cringing during the scenes when they're intimate. It always felt forced. This is jarring to me because Eden's other books seemed to have more depth to the characters and you could feel they loved each other. I don't know, but I can't entirely ship this relationship because it just feels lusty and just horny little teenagers who think they actually know what love is all about.

9) Nope. Dorian is not a man. He's an 18-year-old guy/boy. Unless you're referring to the boy as a "man" in terms of endearment, he's simply a boy/guy. Yet Sloane was referring to him in her inner-monologue as a man.

Okay, now over to what I liked about the story:

!!WARNING!! SPOILER ALERT.

Either way, despite this being just an semi-okay read for me, I'm still a fan and will read all the legacy books. I actually liked Savage Little Lies a lot more than this book.

I received an ARC for this book and this is my HONEST review.

I literally inhaled this book in one day. I couldnt put it down. Even though to me this book seemed longer than the other 2 books the pace of it kept me completely glued to it. There are some dark parts and some really sneaky plot twists which threw me but in a good way.

Sloane & Dorian definitely have a lots going on in this finale. With all the secrets and lies going on. Some shocking ones too. It was a cracking way to tie up Sloane & Dorian's trilogy. I also loved the bonus epilogue from Ms O'Neill's newsletter too. It was a great addition. I just loved it!

"Tiny Dark Deeds" continues the story of Sloane, Dorian and the people in the Court Legacy.

A lot happens in this ongoing anthology, and the best way to describe it is planned disaster. Trusted relationships are tested, old betrayals are exposed, we get loads of misunderstandings, heartbreaks, reconciliations, tragedies, but everything eventually gets tied together in a well deserved happy ending.

you know that feeling you get when you finish a great series, and you’re reading the epilogue, and you genuinely feel at peace, seeing all the characters reach their conclusions, being happy. that was exactly how i felt reading this.

this book was a marvellous way to conclude this first trilogy. eden’s writing managed to captivate me, make me feel a range of emotions. i can guarantee you that at every single point in this book, i was either shocked, happy, excited, scared.

with the ending of the last book being the way it was, i was excited to see where the rest of the story would go, and i was not disappointed. both dorian and sloane had their individual issues, that needed to be resolved before they could fully be dedicated to each other. and the way eden managed to develop both these characters, and their relationship, was incredible.

i loved how every single one of the characters earned it’s place. with a big cast, i’m usually mixing up characters here and there, but eden managed to create such unique characters, that never once did i forget who was who. not only that, but the individual relationships, aside from the main one, were equally amazing. HELLO BOW AND WELLS?????? brother’s best friend is going to HIT.

while this book was a conclusion to sloane and dorian’s relationship, i really think an important aspect of it was the importance of family bonds. the found family trope in this series is AMAZING. i felt like i was right there with them 🫶 i love these characters so so so much, i can’t wait to come to this world soon.

“sloane was my girl, and i loved her”
“you do make me weak, but i don’t care, i love you”
“i’ll be your hell, but never your nightmare”
“i love her. that girl owns me, dad”
“you’re home, dorian prinze. you’re my home, and i love you. you make me feel safe”

LET ME FANGIRL ABOUT SOME THINGS RQ: *spoilers*
> DORIAN GIVING HER HIS RING??? AH.
> WELLS PUNCHING SHAPIRO?? AH.
> THE MALLICK FAMILY??? AH.
> D TAKING SLOANE TO CHARLIES GRAVE?? AH.
> BRU AT THE END ?? AH.

there's an actual moment in this book where the H literally says that the h turning him down and telling him no (while he tries to force himself on her) turns him "the fuck on". do with that what you will.
also the writing was atrocious, it felt like something a middle-school teenage girl would write on wattpad (which isn't always a bad thing, but this time it was).
i only finished this series because i'm a stubborn bitch and i needed to know i was right about my predictions (i was, this whole series is very predictable).

This is the last installment in Dorian and Noa's story and only a word comes in my mind PREDICTABLE... There were several events that were obvious and most likely that was the reason that it felt a little boring. It wasn't as enjoyable as the previous books and the ending was just super fast... Someone would expect a little more action toward the end...

I literally inhaled this entire book in one day! I've finished and I literally don't know what to do with myself! You know that feeling when you finish a book and you literally feel like you've lost people you love!! That's how I feel right now! Full on withdrawal symptoms! 😩

Honestly, there were parts that I found unnecessary and more bits I would have liked to see but the reason I've rated this so high was because I just couldn't get enough of this book!

I absolutely LOVED the found family trope and I loved the relationship the blossomed between Sloane and Ares as well as Sloane and her parents!!! Arghhhh and when she called them mum and dad! I ABOUT HAD HEART PALPITATIONS!! Arghhh I'm so glad they got there family!

If I'm being serious I wanted to read about more interactions with them as a family! I think that's the main reason I rated this so high! I just loved it!!! And the twist with Callum made it interesting to keep reading!!!

Don't get me wrong Dorian pissed me off in this book but that was just because there was so much miscommunication between the two characters!

Arghh now that it's done I feel like I've literally lost them! I'm so invested especially with the Mallick family! I hope we get Ares book so I can see some more of Sloane, Brielle and Ramses! I wanted so much more out of the epilogue.. even the bonus epilogue I wanted more of! I really really loved the relationship the Mallick family ended up having!

The race with Ares at the end and how Ramses had been taking her training and that was their little thing literally made my heart swell! Arghh just so good!!!! Brielle and Ramses were just such good parents and when they cried with happiness after she called them mum and dad really had me sobbing on my kindle!! I k ew they were going to be amazing parents. When Ramses asked Dorian to come into his office everyday to know if he'd heard fro Sloane broke my heart! They finally knew their daughter was safe and alive all for her to be taken away from them again! Arghh I need another story now!!!! Oh my good I don't even know what to do with myself now! 500+ pages was NOT ENOUGH! That's why this review is all verbal diarrhea right now because ARGHHHDHDHDHHDHR

Sadly, I could not finish this book. I DNF at 67% bc I couldn't take it anymore, the lack of empathy from every single character was too much for me.
It started when not a single one of the families could understand that Sloane needed time to process the whole found out she was a kidnaped baby, the girl was dealing with a huge trauma and all of them were acting as if they knew her and knew what was best for her, like NO JUST NO. Then Dorian acting all hurt and angry with her, like she wasn't shocked and traumatized with all the information she was getting THEY POSTED A REWARD FOR HER, she was a 18 yo dealing with her life being turned upside down, she just needed time and things to be on her own terms for once, at least Thatcher could understand that, but then again when it came to how Bro was dealing with everything the lack of empathy started to show.
Every single character acted like all of the thing and decisions others made were a personal attack on them, DORIAN HONEY NOT EVERYTHING IS ABOUT YOU, they were freaking children trying too hard to act like adults.
Now about the writing, while I got hooked on the first book because of TikTok, I felt the author let too many loopholes get past her in regards to descriptions of places, positions and the characters themselves. I thought this was a full on dark romance and to be honest, that was the last thing it was. If you're going to sell a book as a romance and midway through the series change your mind at least have the writing make up for it. Too many poor descriptions too really enjoy the smut on this one.

Charlie is the best charchter and he was dead throughout the whole trilogy so that's speaking volumes.

The FMC was so toxic and have nothing figured out, she sure as hell doesn't love him .
- she wants him to out work into the relationship that she isn't willing to do.
- when he didn't speak to her and left her it was" selfish and he have problems" but when she did it " she didn't want to be liability and shouldn't be punished for that"
- no matter what's the situation he have to make the first step into fixing whatever happened bc she doesn't want to talk anyways.
- when he ignored her he was the problem and should work on getting her back but when she did it he's the problem too and have no right to be mad.
- she didn't trust him, blamed him for everything.
- when he warned her about his grandfather he is also the problem bc he makes things Bigger and overreact so she doubted him and went to the guy saying " she knows Dorian runs hot and she knows the guy isn't like that" until he full on threatened her family and blackmailed her into marrying him .
- she even fought him on the smallest things bc she's stubborn and no one tells her what do like when he told her to wear black for prom bc that's what they do but bc she doesn't get told what to do she decided to buy the most revealing dress as " punishment"

He was a piece of shit in the first book but then he got better and was so much better then her and she doesn't deserve him.

This one is going extremely slow. It's fallen into 5he dreaded book 3 category where the relationship is pretty much a given, the H had admitted he's in love, there's very little left for the progression of said relationship and everything drags as its stretched out. Yawn.

The first 10 chapters were a yawn and could have been summed up into 1. Finally things seem to pick up by chapter 13 and start moving forward. Dorian and Noa finally come together in not a bang as expected but a whimper, so anticlimactic. Then we get into Bru feeling left out and turning to Callum much to the dismay of all the other characters. All of a sudden Callum appears to be on the up and up....but is he? We discover that Ibrahim Mallik might have had a hand in Noa's kidnapping.

But all these events were sooooo dragged out and onerous to read, repetitive with the plot moving at a snails pace. I will have to DNF until I get more time and patience. Ugh.

I am starting the review by describing the two books previously in the series. I wanted to summarize the previous books to rate the final fairly. I am very familiar with the author's writing and her last series of the high court and University court. The current series is the next generation, the children of court high. In the first book, we are introduced to Dorian and Sloane’s story, but also the secondary characters Bruno, Wolf, Bow, Thatcher, and Wells. I found that Dorian is a complex character. Initially, I was unsure if I liked his personality, especially when he was a jerk to Sloane. I did not understand Dorian; I was uncertain if he was indeed an asshole, jerk, or hiding his kindness or all those mentioned above. However, the character matures, chapter by chapter made him redeemable. Dorian in book two is depicted with a much softer side. All the legacy boys have moments of assholeness, but then they show a more likable side, as well. Dorian has many flaws but mainly trust outside from his family and friends is the central issue. The reader in the first book learns about Dorian’s mistrust, over analyzing people's intentions; this is due also to his family history and multiple tragedies.
Therefore outsiders intention is not perceived well. The reader learns about the various family and friend dynamics and their tight clique. The first book is about Dorian revenging his uncle's death and Sloane getting in between his plan. It is how the bully starts for Sloane at the new school. I felt sorry for Sloane's childhood background. Most of Sloane’s decisions and actions were based mainly on her previous experience. She did not have stable family dynamics, and the constant moving around the country did not help her social skills. I cannot imagine what it means not having roots in a place long enough to establish friendship, especially for a child or teenager. Eden’s O'Neill had a way to describe Sloane's loneliness; I was heartbroken and sad. I felt sorry for Sloane. I liked Sloane's character, particularly in the second book. Sloane is not a doormat; she has a strong personality. In the second installment, the author depicts Sloane in a vulnerable and feminine manner. I like a strong female, but I also like the combination of strong, feminine, and vulnerable personalities in a female character. In the second book, it is apparent that the characters are just teenagers; they are playful but getting serious about their feelings and emotions. The first part of the book is about Wolf and Sloane and finding a connection through art. Both are indeed artists. The book ends with Sloane’s kidnapping and finding out that she is, in reality, a twin. The book leaves the reader with a variety of assumptions regarding the abduction of Sloane. Who are the real kidnapper, the meaning of Sloan’s dream, and the different conversations Sloan remembers between her nonbiological parents? I loved the chemistry between Dorian and Sloane.

The conclusion of Dorian and Sloane's story; book three is more than Dorian and Sloane's story; as I mentioned before, Dorian is a flawed character with a dark side and demons that plague him. I liked Dorian better in the book. He shows a side that is not selfish and puts Sloane’s needs first. The author describes the feelings that Dorian and Sloane share and the issues they both need to overcome. I can imagine how stunned and terrified Sloane is in finding out that she was kidnapped and illegally adopted by her kidnappers. It is an awkward feeling finding out that she is a twin, an entire world of privilege that she is not familiar with, and has two biological parents. What I liked greatly is how the story concurrently informs the reader of the dynamics of the families, their friendship, and how they are present in each other life especially when they are in great need of help. I liked how Sloane interacted with her twin brother and her parents. I liked how sweet and mature Sloane is in establishing a connection with her parents. Some parts of the book were emotional. However, both characters are well developed and grow as the story moves on. I enjoyed reading about the relationship between the parents and their children and how present they are in their children's lives, being protective and keeping them safe. There are parts in the book that I was not surprised by how the story's direction was leading, while some other factors I was surprised to read. The writer answers the situations, and difficulties addressed in the previous book and uncovers the mystery of Sloane's kidnapping. I am a reader that likes details in a book. I read the book in one sitting and could not put it down. The story is very engaging and captivating. The series is a must-read. The author did a remarkable job with the series. I hope that the author writes more about Sloane and Dorian in the following books. I cannot wait to read the additional books in the series. I was furthermore happy that the author had Sloane not wearing shorts and high sneakers, like in the previous books.
I received an arc copy of the book from the author. My review is my honest opinion about the series.

FIVE DARK STARS for Sloane and Dorian 💜🖤💜🖤!!!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This was amazing!!!

I'm so happy that I finally had the opportunity to read the last book of Sloane and Dorian's love story because the cliffhanger from the previous book left me speechless and I just wanted (needed) to find out how everything would unfold and whether they would get their happy ending which they absolutely deserve after all the ups and downs.

I can only conclude that Eden has not let down at any point in writing this trilogy and I look forward to her next books because they are books I can read at any time.

If you love Eden's writing style then this is the trilogy for you!!!

Highly recommended!!!

The Finale. Sloane and Dorian and the Legacy Families get their HEA

**Possibly Spoilers Ahead***
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
This finale book was okay.
It starts where the big old cliffhanger left us …well…hanging, at the end of the previous book.

Noa Sloane has now found out she is Pilar Mallick ,
Yep. Long lost daughter of Brielle and Ramses, and sister of Ares, aka Wolf.
(Geez these characters and their multiple names)

Drama ensues as…Let just call her Sloane, wrestles with her new predicament.
She’s got a WHOLE NEW FAMILY.

So.

A large part of this story, to begin with, revolves around her trying to adjust and doing what she does best, stressing out, & running away.

Then, its all angsty hand wringing while the Legacy families combined their knowledge, and incomes to try and locate Sloane and brother Bru ( Bruno).

The chapters alternate between Sloane and Dorian aka ‘The dark princes ( Ugh)
But mostly Dorian as he works through his issues, and feeling while stressing for his missing girl.

Well, found she eventually is, taking this story into it next phase.
The involvement of …
Evil Grandpa/Guardian Callum Prinze ( Montgomery) Royals father, Dorians Pappy.

Through the rest of the storyline we are reading page, after page, of F ing between D & S while waiting for Callum to show his hand.

And when the shoes finally drops it’s a shocker.

Thus, calling on all the Legacy families to come together to pull off an operation worthy of a crack military team.
Luck for them, annoying for us, this all falls into place quite nicely for them.

Finally with their nemesis is out of the way, it time for Sloane, Dorian and the rest of ‘the court crew, and Legacy families, to kick up their heals doing normal family stuff.
Like Prom, and Pizza Nights, and seeing who’s the fastest running, jumping into swimming pools fully clothed …(kid you not).
It’s all happy, happy, HAPPY.

This book was a slight disappointment for me.

There was all this build up to evil Callum revealing himself, then…HE. WAS. GONE! …say WHAT!
The author keeps sets things up perfectly for some crazy drama to go down, ( which it does) then pulls the rug out from under us, resolving everything.

For one thing.

I actually thought Sloane would resist joining the big old ‘legacy family’ fold. At little bit more.

I WANT RESISTANCE.

I really was under the impression it wasn’t something she would embrace.
The way they all live in each other’s pockets, knowing each other’s business because they are ALL ‘family’
It just made me squirm a little.

Thank GOD for Bru, he provide me with the angst here I was looking for, (briefly)

However, a large chunk of this story revolves around the hot, then Hotter, then cold, relationship between Dorian ( HATE the name ‘Dark Prince’) and Sloane
( hate ‘ little fighter more)

Basically,
Sloane and Dorian were ALWAYS going to get back together.
And if your reading this book review thinking that’s some kind of ‘spoiler’
Well,
You haven’t been paying attention to where the author/ plot were obviously heading.
It was just a case of how much baggage everyone was going to work through before that happened.

These two couldn’t stop staring, or thinking or touching each other to the point of add-nauseam.
They were like star crossed lovers, twin flames, soul mates….on and on it went.

So yeah…If you were expecting some kind of alternate ending, someone jumping from the bushes and taking this gag worthy perfect family unit DOWN, look elsewhere.
We are firmly (very firmly ) in the realms of Enemies-to-lovers HEA territory.

The author gives us obvious scenario’s for Dorian and Sloane to get back together and hate F under the flimsiest excuses.
Yeah, the gym scene…

Sloane crying and confronting Dorian alone ( while he was half naked no less) with no security present, yeah…can you say ‘make up sex’
There were many, and I mean MANY situations like this.

And for the love of all that holy, can we STOP with the whole pet name thing “Dark Prince & Little Fighter…WTF!

This story was sprinting for its HEA, so much so, that we got it less than 50% in.

Then we are privy to chapter after chapter of gag worthy musings from both D and S like-
“I didn’t know it was possible to love someone so much after hating them. He wasn’t just heaven. He was a miracle too”. - Sloane
FFS!

When we finally get to the end, then epilogue.
We end up with moments worthy of Disney family wholesomeness.

Chapter after chapter of gag worth , backslapping cringe moments with the guys, & warm and fuzzy family moments.
The Mallick’s proving they’re going for family of the year, accepting Bru into their lives

Then one heck of a soppy epilogue, with Ares aka Wolf declaring he was off to Pembroke Uni too!….Woo Hoo! ..( oh boy)
From where this series began, the ending just didn’t do ‘it’ for me.
Not to mention, the author couldn’t help herself with the feel good wrap ups that went on FOREVER!
Going to great lengths to let’s us know ‘they were F.A.M.I.L.Y.

So, everyone ends rich, privileged, got what they all wanted, and in love…
SHOCKER!

I think I would have been more invested in these characters had I read the earlier series (Court High and Court University). There was a lot of attention put on the side characters, most of whom I was not familiar with. Because of this, it felt like fluff to me and it took away from Sloane's and Dorian's story.

This story felt very dragged on. During the first 10 chapters, it was slow and boring. We find out that The story doesn't pick up until the ~75% mark with a plot twist. But even then with the plot twist revelation, no action came out of it.

Did I think this was a good conclusion to Noa's and Dorian's love story? Not really. This book did not include enough of their moments and I did not see them being any stronger from when they first started out as a couple.

Very anti-climatic given this was the final part to the trilogy.

Tiny Dark Deeds was such a perfect conclusion to Noa and Dorian’s story that was absolutely unputdownable.

Between Eden’s writing and story-telling, I was on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. This story was emotional, addictive, and full of twists that I wasn’t expecting!

The legacy boys and their families felt like home by the end of these three books. And while I absolutely adore Noa and Dorian’s romance, I loved that this was more of a story about found family. The romance definitely took a back seat to the main plot, but I still felt completely fulfilled in the steam department.

And can we just talk about Noa and Ares, quick?! They were my ABSOLUTE favorite dynamic and I would gladly read an entire series just about those two.

This is one of those series that I will be thinking about months later and can’t recommend enough. I absolutely loved it!

”I’d level the earth for this girl. I’d start wars.”

The conclusion of Sloane and Dorian’s story.

Tiny Dark Deeds starts off right where book two left. Sloan is in the hospital and finding out that she is Ares kidnapped twin sister, Pilar. There are so many pieces in this story it’s almost insane. Her kidnapping, Callum, Ramses and Brielle, Bru and all of that on top of Sloane and Dorian trying to figure ‘them’ out.

There were parts of this story that I really liked and then parts that I didn’t (mainly because I didn’t find it necessary). There was a lot in this book. A whole lot! It answers all your questions but the bad side of that is it makes the one book drag on and makes me start skimming through it. I REALLY wanted more of just Noa and D! I felt like the story just went all around them and never really focused on them as a couple. I completely understand the reason as to why all of this was put in this book, I just feel it took away from the story of Noa and D as a couple.

Overall I loved this series, this finale for me was just not as captivating as the first two books.

Was so excited, but it is a let down

I was super excited to read this book. I was really let down I got so bored. I don't know how many times they had to mention their "god dad/dads", "the moms", "the dads". It was annoying. And kind of awkward. I felt like this book just dragged on and I skimmed a lot, especially at the end, I just wanted it to end. All three books could have been just a duology. Not sure if I will read any more from this author.

i don’t remember when it was now but there was a joke in here that set me off the wrong way so that kinda annoyed me but overall i’m glad that everything eventually worked out. i love the twins, they deserve the happiness they received and their parents are the cutest.

Giving this book 3 stars was a difficult decision. It wasn’t that I didn’t like the book it was that it took me a long time to read. I think this would’ve been a really good duet instead of a trilogy. However, in saying that I really did enjoy the whole series. As well as this last book.

All three books just felt like a bunch of kids who wouldn’t stay out of their parents business.. ? Kind of annoying. Dorian sucks. Last book was unnecessarily long.

i needed them happy all throughout this book. i was smiling from ear to ear and the next i was sobbing. im so serious when i say i went through the 5 stages of grief. you can see how they changed for each other. they still had communication problems until finally finally FINA-FUCKING-LLY they didn’t. he went to therapy. he went to therapy by force at first but then actually started to open up. he still struggled and so did she but no one is perfect. im so happy she got to find her happiness. they both deserved each other. they really found home within each other and the people around them. i miss them already so i’m gonna re read <3

Overall Opinion :
I have been waiting for this conclusion of Dorian and Sloane's story for a long time. It was so amazing to see the second generation together and seeing all my favorite older characters as parents this time!

Dorian and Sloane have a take that will grip you fast and won't let you go till the very end. I am in love with the plot twist that came at the end of book 2 because omg, I had not guessed that one! The whole trilogy was more of a contemporary type except the first book which felt a bit dark to me. Just a few scenes though. It was totally amazing and I am definitely recommending this one to all the contemporary romance loving people out there!

Wow!!! There is a lot going on with this book!!! So much happens I had to do a re-read jut to see if I caught everything.

This is book three in the Court Legacy and I think mainly concentrates on Sloane and Dorian. But of course we have all of the other characters I just feel like it focused on them more.

Once I started this read I could not stop!!! I just needed to know what would happen next. Like I said there was a lot going on so I was so focused on what I was reading time just slipped away.

These characters will become some of your favorite. I just cannot say no to strong characters that have such depth.

All I can say is that this is such a good read, it had me caught from the beginning to end. I would highly recommend this series.
